Why do you torture me Tomy? WHY?!?!? Try being a fan of wind-ups and Redlers :p. Dangit, I just want the Liger itself. Bluuuuueandgreen. Couldn't you just paint a regular liger zero like that if you wanted the color scheme? ::runs and hides:: ::from hideing spot:: So This is still gonna be the unpainted CAS that stinks. Would it really be that expensive to use normal plastic and paint these things?

And where will I get neon green caps from? Caps don't paint right...
Besides, I want one that's unpainted. I just don't want to pay that much for a recolor, hence my hoping we'd see a sane release.

Hmmmm. I picked up a replica kit, so I doubt I'll get this, even though I love the lil' pilots !
I'm not surprised its still resin, and not plastic. Resin parts are made using a rubber mold, whereas plastic parts use a metal mold. Making a rubber mold is cheap and easy but making a metal mold is pretty expensive. So you'd need a much bigger production run to offset the cost of making the metal mold.
BTW - I think a "mold" is used for casting, and "mould" is what grows on bread, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong ...

Sorry to bring this back up, but is it safe to assume that if I wanted this LE Liger, with the armor, then my best bet is to buy it and the reprodution resin from toy-wave.com. And be prepared to pait!

I've never had a problem painting caps in my life, to get even more off-topic. I understand why you might, the cap bends and paint doesn't, but how often do you actually bend the cap? Most of the time it just fits right on and merely rotates.
