www.the-magicbox.com/ (Click on the top link then just search for "zoids") "Tomy announced Zoids Infinity EX Neo for Xbox 360, the latest work of the popular action series. The game is scheduled for a spring 2006 release in Japan, and it will support online battle via Xbox Live." I have mixed feelings on this (as I've heard that Infinity was sub-par, even as far as Zoids games go) but Live gaming would be neat.

www.gamersreports.com/news/428/Like I had guessed, the graphics are sub-par looking to be around that of the arcade version giving me fears that it'll be a port of the latest version of the arcade game meaning it won't be much better than the PS2 version. What also greatly distrubs me is that none of the zoids displayed in the screenshots are new to the Infinity franchise making me wonder if Infinity will again have an extremely limited zoid selection... In a nutshell you'd all best hope my fears are completely wrong if you want a decent Zoids game. Saying that I'm currently disappointed would be the understatement of the year. As for the Blox Geno, I think it's for another game and not this one. Not entirely sure but I think so.

Sheesh, that is one poor-looking game. The models and environments are bland at best and what is it with Zoids games and HUDs? Shoddy.

I think I summed up Infinity pretty well in my post at MMM.

Yeah except this isn't the first game in the series of Infinity. If you want to make comparisons to the VS series then it'd be either VS II or Battle Legends. The arcade version was the first to come out and seems to be doing well for itself and then a port was created for the PS2 which lacked the online play and so lacked appeal also.
What would help this quite a bit is if the online play aspect of this game could compete in online tournaments like the Arcade version. It seems they recently completed a 2vs2 tournament or something.
