the ones that sell them are I should think.
Myself, i'd like an OJR gilvy and gungy because any rereleases of them won't be the same and I like the original colors. That and nothing smells quite like a 10+ year old, unopened box. It's a matter of charm.
I don't collect to make money (why else would I spend $150+ on a zoid otherwise then eh?) but some people do. And now they can all watch as tomy rereleases half of 'em.

I don't regret paying what I did for mine, despite my joke griping that we see a rerelease after I buy one. It's cool, and even if the rerelease looks exactly the same it can't beat that old-Zoid feel. And I bet it won't have the catalogue. I just hope the Gilvy rerelease gets cheaper OJR out there. So far no luck, and Tilly waaaaants one.
...and as for Tomy being unafraid, I STILL bet this is because of Hasbro's Battle Rex.

dunno, but so long as it's not ceasar rex salad colors i'm all good. Because, in the end spray painting is annoying. Unless you tape the pegs really well it won't fit together tightly, it'll eventually wear off... in shor,t painting everything's too much of a hassle

these people who are sitting on OJRs might as well unlaod them now, as tomy has proven they're not afraid to rerelease anything... People don't solely collect OJRs because of their value. Bet their are some people who do that, for that very reason.

I'd like to see a Battle Rex too, actually...it'd be funny to have a Deadborder in sparkley green and clear orange.
What'd work best in my mind is the main line goes for cool new colors, TDP for the original for those what want it. Both the collectors that don't have the old ones and those that do get something then...though obsessive people like me go crazy.
