It's listed as the same price on Rakuten as Great Saber, and Amenbo's selling Great Saber for less than 2,500 yen, roughly $20.
I see no reason why they'll mark up Deadborder to $40 if they didn't do the same for Great Saber.
Similarly, I got my Shield Liger Mk II from HLJ for 2,500 yen. I again see no reason for them to mark up a similarly priced Deadborder up to $40.

.. you didn't read what I wrote. At all. The SHIPPING costs brings it up to about $40 from asia.
OR if you can't get it at amenbo/HLJ before they run out of stock you have tog et it for an american seller/scalper. And that's going to run you anywhere from $40-50 easily

you forget scalpers, US store mark ups and shipping though I imagine this'd go for about $40 if you order it from HLJ or amenbo plus shipping. $40 plus shipping. That reads to me as $40 + $x = $40+x But in retrospect I can see what you meant. Regardless, I fail to see the point of how this is going to be oh so expensive and hard to get. Heck, I can still get a Shield Liger Mk II from Image Anime for $35 plus shipping.

*shrugs* he says he's hoping they won't be like $60. I don't think they're going to be that expensive nor that difficult to get if the MK II is any indication -it's everywhere, and cheap too. It's also fugly as heck imo. Deadborder seems really popular and well -great saber is sold out everywhere *growls, wants one*. They'll be readily available i'm sure, but if you can't preorder them in the initial rush you're gonna have to wait a bit and prob pay a bit more till other people get in. Look at how fast great saber sold out

Er, Great Saber hasn't been released yet, afaik. The sold outs are preorders on site like Amenbo. Unless that's what you are refering to.
Anyways, if it's anything like Shield Liger Mk II, it'll just show up on HLJ one day as instock.

I know it's still on preorder. The fact that the preorders sold out in a day is kind of a discouraging sign for me

BTW, why when i mail TDP they told me that SLMKII was the last!!!! Considering that there's been a TDP Great Sabre in the works for ages then I'd say that the person who told you doesn't know jack. Hopefully I can buy at least two of these....

BTW, why when i mail TDP they told me that SLMKII was the last!!!! I can't remember what the exact message was, but I read it more as 'we don't have a clue what we're doing next' rather than 'that's it from us.'

... why would they make another dark horn? I mean, how many darkhorns does a person need? One more, and then I'm done. Until they bring out another one, that is. One more Darkhorn... just one more... and Brutox... jsut one... Rick R.

Wonder if a glowy Heldigunner is on the cards as that's the only one I need to complete me wonderful Dark Zoids collection...?
Still a 2nd Dead Border cannot hurt in the meantime; he's well cool.

*is currently pointing and laughing at ebay now watching all the sellers try and unlaod their deadborders*
these people who are sitting on OJRs might as well unlaod them now, as tomy has proven they're not afraid to rerelease anything... I hope to see a gungy rerelease. ;D
