this is my home computer tyvm i also do all my work on it. I only had $400 to spend at the time and it was a really good deal, only thing i've had to do to it is add some RAM. I didn't and still don't have a couple hundred dollars to install a DVD drive.

I highly prefer watching DVDs on a TV anyway...the picture quality is better with animated stuff, and there's something darn cool about seeing Zoids on a TV. I hardly got to see it that way when it was airing, after all.
Pity more of Zoids didn't see a Japanese VHS release. Japanese VHS work fine on US TVs since we're NTSC too...and okay, not as good of quality, but no regions.

the liger's got nothing to do with it really. CDs/DVDs for whatever reason are expensive in Japan. It's not costing them that much extra to bundle a recolor with it.

Perhaps in Japan, pirating cds and dvds boosts up the prices. Then again if it's expensive for those who only have to convert currency, I really don't think that they have a hard time buying stuff like that because that is their own currency. I mean when I was in an airport in Nagoya, the U.S. dollar was barely anything at the snack-bar. It was like $4 for a 16 oz. can of Coke. Of course there is a little inflation in international airports, but still $4 for a coke for an american?...OUch!
About playing dvds from other regions; if you have the time, patience,a little bit of cash for a particular dvd player and a soldering iron, thenI'm sure you can "make" your own region free dvd player. People modify X-boxes, why not dvd players?

becasue, skyeline dreams, when you're in a country like asutralia whre it's technicaly illegal to regon lock a player, the manufacturer has to provide a solution... traditionaly a 4 digit code that you punch in on initilisation of the player. Now, suprise suprise, people share this sort of information with their overseas friends, some of who might just post it on the internet. My my, these people are naughty, but it poses an interesting question: Why muck about with the soldering iron in that case?

If it's really going to be clear like that, they've found a nice way to torture me. The things one could do with that and fabric dye...but don't like Genesis that much...graaagh.

Yeah, I figure its 1/72. I was half hoping it was a smaller kit because if its 1/72 then I have to add it to my crystal collection(Damn the completest in me lol) Still it isn't out while December so a couple of extra shifts between now and then will pay for it. Although theres always yahoo Japan

I must say I'm quite surprised with the crystalness. With Murasame's prebuiltness, it just seemed to me like making it totally or mostly transparent wouldn't work.
That said, I wonder how well screw will work on transparent plastic, and how well the whole prebuilt section will hold up in the box.
I guess we shall see eventually.
