Has/does anyone read/owns this? I had it for a bit, but I thought it sucked, so I returned it for a Love Hina. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

It was not well done. In fact, it really stunk. The characters were far too short, and nothing except the Zoids was given a great amount of detail. The story was rushed and lacked any sense of the fate-of-the-world danger that they were trying to achieve.
I also have a hard time seeing Alteil pilot the Berserk Fury.
All in all, it was far too rushed and not given enough attention... Kinda like Fuzors.

Does anbody know if the story ends in the first GN? I'm assuming GN means Graphic Novel. In which case, yes. New Cenury is only one volume long. My biggest issue with it was that most of the other characters received no development. Leena isn't portrayed as a firey gun-slinger. If anything, she's this frail girl who goes "eeeek!" all the time. ... Good for you.  |

Yeah the New Century Zero Manga moved way too fast and so on for a good plot line or anything. If perhaps they had twisted around some events to make it more original it could have been much better for sure. But artwork wise, the Zoids are done pretty well done for Manga, even though the Characters could have had some more work done on them. That's just what i think.
