the marvel mini-comics that came with the Zoids How many of those were there? I have three: one with all the blue Zoids and namer wandering around naming them all; one with the arrival of the red Zoids, where Zrk gets toasted; and one where a bunch of Zoids are fighting in the desert and Zoidzilla releases Gore, Krok and a couple of Protozoids to go find Krark.

There was also a US-style one with the renegade/Super 1000 Zoids & possibly one of the Zabre/Scavenger era (not sure, will have to check). There was a mini one in which you had to finish the story yourself as a competition (unsure if this was Marvel). Also seen 2 more on ebay- one for renegade Zoids again (different from mine above) & one for Zoids2. Both were selling at ridiculous prices that even I wasn't prepared to pay. Dunno if you know it existed, but I also still have a Zoids tape & book made by Rainbow which detailed the 1st 2 mini-comics.

:: There was also a US-style one with the renegade/Super 1000 Zoids
I remember that one. It's pretty dire and has Zillon getting seven shades of tar kicked out of it. The android ends up in Red Horn.
:: There was a mini one in which you had to finish the story :: yourself as a competition (unsure if this was Marvel).
I also recall the result of this: someone designed a Zoid called "Red Juggernaut".
:: & one for Zoids2.
Worst. Zoids. Comic. Ever.
:: I also still have a Zoids tape & book
I'd never heard of that one!

Check the Spiderman and Zoids thread if you wanna see them. Maybe I'm being an idiot, but where is that found?

Ah yes, the cassette...
The wonder of 80s sound effects. Rubber bands were used to represent Spiderzoid walking!

Sorry to barge in fellas, but you may want to have a look at my site... Nice! Where on earth did you get the scans for the monthly from? I've only ever seen page two before. I'm hoping to create a kind of Zoids TPB for myself before long, compiling all of the Secret Wars and Spider-Man and Zoids stuff into one volume, so those Yeowell shots will make nice "extras". (If only Titan or someone else would do this in an official sense, but I doubt that's ever going to happen.)

You saw Page 2 in the Richard Starkings interview too, yeah? I e-mailed him! I guess that was the most logical answer! It's such a shame this comic was canned. Although a little too influenced by Blade Runner and Aliens, it was nonetheless a decent read, and it was intruiguing to have no "good guys" or "bad guys" among the Zoids (they were all just out to destroy anyone other than their own army). Interestingly, a Grant Morrison interview mentions how his idea for Zoids would have led to these huge "toys" being controlled by extra-dimensional beings (seen briefly only in one of the later issues of the Spider-man and Zoids comic)—something he'd revisit in a much more concrete sense in Inivisible. Anyway, thanks for putting those scans online!
