Battle Legends-
How many people can play at once on Multiplayer? Four, correct? And if there's only three is it split into two squares at the top/bottom, and one rectangle at the bottom/top, or is it three squares with one empty square?
Vs. III-
Are they planning on making an American release of this game?

to the last part, doubtful.
I doubt they plan on making any new american games until someone new picks up the license or hasbro makes zoids again in about another 10 years or so.

VS 1 and 2 can only have at most 2 players. Four people can play VS 3, but if I figured it out properly, you can't have just three Zoids alone. The fourth will be controlled by the CPU. And the frame rate is extREMEly slow in 4-player mode. Because even if you only have three humans, the fourth non-human gets his own window on the screen. So no matter how many you do for the 4 person battle, even if you go at it alone, the screen will always be in four sections.

Shenny and Yurei have said it all. As much as I like the series, 4-Player in VSIII is rubbish to the point of unplayable.

I was extremely disappointed by the four player myself..... you can only choose certain zoids from a pre-determined list in a weak attempt to have a workable frame rate.
It's possible to have some fun with the littler zoids in certain arenas but for the most part it's terrible. The terrains are wireframe for a lot of the fights and so forth.
I'm extremely disappointed by the frame rate in VSIII really, it's not like the gamecube is a sluggard when it comes to power and VSIII doesn't even have great graphics yet you fire a couple of missiles, it rains or someone fires a vulcan and the frame rate turns to mush.
