I think most blox Zoids are the easiest, along with the smaller wind-ups like the Gun Sniper and Rev Raptor. If you can get your hands on an Iguan, that would be a good canidate. Also, when customizing, be prepared to hack away at parts.

My first two were Bear Fighters. Mixing parts like you've done is a great place to start...you'd be surprised what a little paint and different colored caps can do.

Molgas are inexpensive and you can find them at just about any KB Toys. Molgas are great for customizing. As a matter of fact, I have a Molga custom on deck. Just need to paint it and build it.

I've seen Molga and it has this compartment in the rear part, is that an easy one to place custom parts in? I've seen Phenotype's Molga customs and it seems that Molga's rear part is really versatile.

Getting started is just a matter of being crazy enough to try. Small zoids are good to start with because if you screw something up, you didn't loose much money in it and you learn from your mistakes.

Red horn steel. Was my 1st well repaint, but it kicked arse. Go with red horn or dark horn, but plan and work carefully. Results will be rewarding since its battery powered.

hmm I just got a Molga now I'm trying to figure out how to modify it. I wish I could paint it, but I'll pass until I put some new gears to it.

My True first custom was with a Barrigator. It actually turned out quit nice. Even though i think was hard to do the cammo.
