Actually I don't recommend using super glue for models, it has a tendency to get everywhere and doesn't work very well on several types of plastic. -Phenotype

Actually I don't recommend using super glue for models, it has a tendency to get everywhere and doesn't work very well on several types of plastic. -Phenotype Hence the cement pen, almost absolute control of where it goes and is intended for modeling, so will work on most plastics, not horribly expensive either considering the amount of use Im getting out of mine.

i use revell precision glue, its not expensive at all and it lasts for ages, im still on my first one, the blue bit covers a long needle so you only apply the glue to the join and it sort of 'melds' the plastic together to give a strong join.

I actually use my Rubber cement but its extremely messy i actually use a stencil to put it on

i agree with pheno.when i tried using glue for a booster pack on my gig,it spilled everywhere

I've switched to Plastruct Plastic Weld and have been very happy with it. Works on just about any plastic, and applied with a small brush attached to the lid. Drys almost too fast, though...
