The PS2 Zoids games only work on japanese (or modded) PS2s. The Gamecube VS games only work on japanese (or modded) gamecubes, and the Camecube Legends game is only available for American Gamecubes.
All GBA games will work on all GBAs, but Zoids Legacy is the only one in English.
To play Zoids Struggle (PS2, and in my opinion the best of the console games), either buy a japanese PS2, get a swap disc for an Australian PS2, or get a modchip installed in an Australian PS2.

where can you get a chip or a mod disk (I'm assuming that modchips are still legal in Australia - last I heard, Sony failed in court action against modchip retailers. But check for yourself first!) Google for "ps2 modchip installed site:au". First result is; forums.eyo.com.au/showthread.php?t=102443in sydney

Don't forget that overseas Gamecube games can be played using Freeloader. You could buy that or a GC Action Replay which comes with a Freeloader.
