I just can't seem to compleat the mission mode! I'm stuck on two levels. In the empire mission mode (12A) The moglas keep handing my proto zabers butt cheeks to me before I get to engage sismo . In the Republic mission mode (7) the red horn and dark horn just won't seem to die! I can kill the moglas, but I cant seem to kill the red horn and dark horn before they either A) total the hover cargo or B) the dark horn blows me up with his mines and the red horn blinds me with his smoke screen. Please someone help me!!!

Thanks Templar, I'll try the republic one, but I still need help with the empire one, for dano only has up to mission ten, and I'm on 12A, and I'm STILL having my butt cheeks handed to me by the moglas

I remember that one. Proto Zaber and his Sniper Rifle, plus and armor boosting sub-parts you got and the E-shield. Deal with the Molgas first. Be careful, they WILL regenerate. Make sure all the Molgas are gone before attacking Seismo, otherwise their missles will tear you apart.

I don't see how a sniper rifle is going to work, unless of course the rifle kills a mogla in one shot, other wise I'll be a sitting duck to those missles. got to the tenth republic mission, despite the fact that the liger areo is strong, it really looks ugly in my opiton .

I don't know if mine is different or not, but I find the A.I. isn't too bright. When you hit one with the Sniper Rifle, they get up and stand still for a moment, searching for what hit them. The bigger zoids, like Seismo, aren't as stupid, but they'll focus on your partner more if you keep picking at them.

Is there any other way other than using the sniper rifle, 'cause I'm a horible sniper. BTW: managed to compleat the republic mission mode, so I just need to find an easy way by this mission! ;D

I use the Iron Kong with the weapons that come standard except using the Weapon Pack B instead of A. Use the shoulder 6 missle thing only when standing still or walking slowly or all your ammo will go into the ground (SO glad they fixed that problem in VS 3). Put the booster on and after you go after the Molga close to you, go help the Gun Sniper because Tita won't last too long against them and they'll go after you when they're done with her. The only thing you should have to worry about when focusing on the group of Molgas surrounding the GS is the Seismo's Seriously Homing Dunno The Real Name of It Missles. And you'll get knocked down after getting hit with about two of them, but they don't actually do much damage to you. Even if you kill the Molgas quickly one after the other, they won't regenerate at the same time. You can use the 6 missile weapon (while standing still, once again) and use it against the Seismo until it goes down and go after the Molgas as they regenerate. Obviously you can't use the weapons as you're running from the Seismo, but I personally find it easier to focus on running away from the big Zoids while they're mobile and then attacking them when they use their CPGs or those neck guns the Seismo has. Don't bother using the weapon pack on the Molgas because the shots will likely go over them. If you're quick enough you can use the WP to hit the Seismo while you're running from it, but it's definitely best to use the shoulder gun while it's standing still.

OK, tryed what you suggested and it didn't work shenney, it came very close, closer than I have been before, but my problem is still with thoes damm moglas! They seem to like using their missles a little to much and the missle weapons I use seem to miss more times than they hit. The kongs melee is very effective on them, but they seem to be able to get under the attack alot, and while I try to kill the moglas, the seismo is taking cheap pot shots at me. Another thing that I noticed is the the Moglas lauch TOO many missles, so many that it slows down my fram rate. if you ask me, the programers did a HORIBILE job on this mission, it's way too hard.

See, I had the opposite problem, I flew through the Empire missions, and got stuck on the Republic mission against the twin Kongs. I know I used Proto Zaber, but I can't remember all the rifle choices. If you could tell me which back-mounted rifles you have available, I'll give it my best go at aiding you, Private.

Ok, here's the back mounted rifles and their damage ratings: Long-range rifle A (302) AZ 30mm 2 B-cannon (142) Lng-Rng Pul Lsr Rfl (230) Snp Proto Snp Rfl (670) Assault unit (160) Gatling unit (130)
EDIT: tryed doing it with the sniper rifle as you first suggested, and I didn't kill a single mogla

hmm... I suggest trying it with the Genosaurers weapon, the Long Range Pulse Laser Rifle. It has a good fire rate and some traking ability, so you should be able to outmaneuver those pesky missles with it. Just remember: Clear out the Molgas, soften up Seismo, back to the respwaned Molgas, Kill Seismo.
oh and yeah, sorry about that. I'm obsessed with precision weapons and pride myself on my accuracy. I use a sniper rifle whenever possible, and pride myself on being undefeated with one equipped.

What I like to do is use the boosters to manuever around the Seismo in such a way that the Molga's missles hit it instead. It involves going in a wide circle that you quickly tighten up around the Seismo. You should be able to figure it out.
