Well I am back. I have been away for awhile, I have been in school and I start College in the Fall. I well be studying Game Art & Design. And Yes this Post is About Zoids.
My Future Goal is to design a Zoids MMO. There will be cites where you can walk around as a normal Person and Buy stuff Like Food and Parts. There will be Tourny Based Fights Once a Year and you can fight People randomly if you want or meet some one and set up an actual battle and get money as a reward for winning. The Whole Thing will Take place on a large Continent. You well Be able to buy Every zoid but you are only allowed to have a set limit depending on how you are going to transport them for example if you have a gustav you can have up to 4.
If you have any Ideas Let me Know. And if you have any programming skills tell me and we can talk about how we can start working on this.

MMOs are usually extremely expensive to create and maintain. If it is your eventual goal, keep that in mind but aim for more achievable intermediate goals - like designing your combat system as a standalone fighting game.
Massively Multiplayer Online (game)

The combat game is not zoids-based, right?
You won't get investors on a project to create something you cannot sell.

Do you have any idea what a huge undertaking this will be?
I mean, I only do work in 2D and that's hard enough. But getting everything to mesh together in 3 dimensions? That would be beyond crazy without numerous teams under you.

What about copyright issues. If you plan on using zoids, I think you need some kind of legal paper to use them especially if you plan on selling a product.
As for suggestions, start with the zoids saga/legacy games in order to see how gameflow has worked.

Tomy doesn't seem to care on a minor scale-they don't mind people selling doujinshi, and I've seen a fan game for sale before too. They likely see it as free publicity and don't want to go smiting loyal fans. Something large, though, they might get a bit annoyed...

I am not starting the zoids game for awhile. I am still learning how to use the unreal engine and I plan to create a non-zoid games before so that I can get a reputation then I am going to ask tomy about getting a license to create a zoids game.

I wish Tomy would give Andy a license to create Zoids games. His 2D stuff owns Zoids Dash.
