Vs III: Final A-side missions?

Hey, DM here at my friend's house. He has a GameCube, I do not I'm making a guide for Zoids Vs III, but I'm having a problem. I've tried going through A side missions, and the B side missions, but for the last few battles it always sends me through the B side. How does one activate the A side of the final missions?

you need to get an A or a S on 15. getting an S rank on all missions will unlock the ultra Z's but trust me in vs3 the ultra Z's arn't that great ( act like super parts three types attack,rotational(why you need more rotational bothers me), defense or speed(not entirely sure havn't had them in a long time aka haven't beaten it lately))

Holy... Well, that's certainly a pain. Do I need to get an overall S rank, or specifically S rank on every single mission? I've gotten an overall S rank in battle mode even though I got a D on a few individual battles, so that seems a lot easier.

you have to get an S rank on all the missions in the story mode(or whatever its called). its a pain b/c your partner is dumber than a pile of rocks.

Yeah, getting all three ending missions is nuts. Got two of them but trying to get S for all missions is insane. I gave up on the mission where you have to fight the PKB because in such a tiny arena it's really difficult trying to avoid damage from all three zoids. I was actually surprised that I managed to make it through all the partnered missions so far and if I skip that mission I can actually keep getting S rank for a lot of the following missions. Only problem is it really does seem you need S for every mission to get that elusive final mission variant >_>

for the PKB misson work on the giga first then move on to the smaller two or take out the arosaurer, sinker, giga. keep jumping around and do slide turns.
