If this guide does not work, tell me what the problem is and I can give you a personalized strategy. For this, you must tell me what Zoids you have, what battle/story you're in, and what characters you and your partner (if you have one) are.

The guide is set up Like so:
Which Battle: Which pilots, What Zoids or Zoid they use, the type of area the battle takes place in.
_______________________________________
Strategies for beginners:
1. Sell all starting Zoids except two (doesn't matter which of the four) and Buy any Variation of Blade Liger available.
2. Sell two Zoids and heavily upgrade the remaining two.
3. Practice your technique in Fist or vs. mode until you could beat anything with one of the four starters
Zoids Zero story: (Best for beginners or to earn BP easily)
Battle 1: Tigers team, Two sabre tigers, Wasteland
Easy battle. Set your partner on bombardment while you either use blades or do as your partner does. Try not to get into close combat without blades because they may both attack you at the same time. Boosters are always good to have because they'll help you avoid their claw attacks.
Battle 2: Leon and Brad, Shied Liger and Command Wolf AC, Canyon
Never underestimate a any type of Liger. This battle is a little tougher for those with high speed Zoids or close combat Zoids. For this one, put your partner on combat if his Zoid is well rounded (good for close and ranged combat), if not put them on bombardment while you use a shielded Zoid with a gun that does between 200-300 damage, or use any type of gattling gun or missiles. If missiles, make sure to aim directly at the enemy or the missiles will explode on the walls.
Battle 3: Bit and Leena, Dibison and Liger Zero, desert area
DO NOT USE MELEE ATTACKS! Liger Zero will drive your metal head into the ground! Use either a Dibison of your own, or a Zoid with a powerful long-range weapon. If you haven't procured either run circles around the enemy and shoot with non-missile weapons. With Dibison, dodge everything, and make sure not to get too close. Don't forget, the 17mm cannons can be very deadly, so avoid if possible.
Battle 4: Jack Cisco and Harry Champ, Lightning Saix and cannon tortoise, Republican Airbase
In this mission it is important to deal with the cannon tortoise first, It is armed with the beam cannon cp-unit. Put your ally on combat while you tear up the turtle. When thats finished, attack the saix. Try not to get into melee combat with it, unless you are using a zoid with a shield. This battle is easy, as long as you use a zoid with some good fire power.
Battle 5: Stoller and Pierce, Elephander Stoller custom and Rev Raptor, Empire North Base
First, take out Elephander. Avoid using melee attacks against it, because of the beam sword on its trunk. If you happen to be using a Gunsniper or Snipe master jump on the roof of the center building and use missiles and the sniper rifle. The Rev Raptor is a push over, just don't let it pass you on the side, its blade can be deadly if used correctly.
Battle 6: Bit and Leena, Liger Zero Jager and Gunsniper Leena special, Republic advance base
Avoid Jager's melee attacks if possible, don't forget, Jager is very fast and hard to avoid. Use long range on it if possible. Now with gun sniper, try to get in close, its melee attacks are fairly weak. Your partner will most likely have weakened it while you went after Jager.
Battle 7: The Tasker Sisters, two lightning saix TS's, Metroploitan area
The best strategy here is to use a bladed zoid, preferably Blade Liger mirage. These Saix's have cloaking devices, so you can't lock on till they are visible again. The way to avoid this is to spot their movements and slice em. Make sure your partner also has a bladed zoid, rev raptor will do just fine.
Battle 8: Harry and Mary Champ, Dark Horn Harry custom and Iron Kong Mary custom, Desert
This is another battle where an enemy uses stealth. Use a bladed Zoid with boosters. First take out Harry, he is just a distraction. Then the tough part begins, the Iron Kong. When using blades on it make sure to use a boost right before you strike. This will prevent you from being hit by IK's melee sttack. This is a fairly tough battle for beginners, so make sure you can use a blade liger with as much precision as a surgeon with a scalpel.
Battle 9: Bit and Jamie, Liger Zero Schneider and Gojulas, Republic Training Squadron Base
DO NOT USE BLADES! Schneider is probably the best bladed Zoid in the game. Use a hard hitting long range zoid with boosters. Dibison and Gunsniper are the two best candidates for this fight. Take out Schneider first, if you go after gojulas, schneider will come from behind and hit hard. Get as far away from schneider as possible and snipe or bombard. Gojulas is much easier. It has weak weapons and a melee that is easy to avoid due to its speed. Take out gojulas any way you want.
Battle 10: Leon and Naomi, Red Blade Liger and Naomi's Gun Sniper, Empire development base
This battle is much easier than one would think. Use preferably a non bladed zoid. Take out Gun Sniper first, it rarely uses its sniper rifle so it is an easy target. The Blade Liger isn't very hard either, just try to shoot at rather than use melee, and don't forget that this blade liger has a shield.
Battle 11: Bit and Brad, Liger Zero Panzer and Shadow Fox, Desert hills
This Battle is tough, no matter what you use. A fast zoid with blades is probably the best you can do. Take out fox first, as it can be a pest when dealing with panzer. Panzer itself is very tough. It has great long range and melee attacks. Its weakness is its low speed, so use a blade and booster combnation to outrun both types of attacks and go in for the kill.
Battle 12 (Final Battle): Vega and Hooma, Berserk Fury and Geno Saurer, Terra Geist Base Upper Area
This battle MUST be at long range. Fury's buster claws are deadly and should be avoided. Geno saurer's claws are also very dangerous. The best way to deal with this is to jump up to the top of the stair-like platforms and fire down at the enemy. If you don't have Dibison or Gunsniper, get one now and arm it to the teeth. As song as you are on the top platform, the only threat is Geno Saurer's pulse lasers.
End of New Century Zero Battle Story.
Chaotic Century Battle Story: better for players with some expierience in the first battle story.
Still working on it, but I will make personalized strategies for anyone that may need it.
