I had alot of people love this story and I hope you do too. Enjoy the amazing story of the Energy Liger.
*EDIT: I took some advice from some people and revised some of the story. To those who already read the story, is the story better now than it was?
Revenge of the Liger
By: Silverliger539
A long time ago, fierce battles were going on. Meaningless zoid battles against humans and zoids. The Zempente and Empric Empire were having a war against each other for country power. The Zempente Empire were ruthless soldiers with only one thing on their mind, destruction. A man and his Liger Zero were caught up in this war. He was the leader of the Empric Empire. As hard as the Empire tried, the Zempente Empire were too strong. Some of the Empric troops started retreating to save their own lives but the man and his Liger Zero kept on going until they went too far. The Liger Zero over heated, causing malfunctions in his legs, but they kept going. They tore threw the front line until they came to the Zempente leader. He controlled a two-headed black Death Saurer. The man drove the Liger around to the side of the Death Saurer, but the Liger couldn’t withstand the pain anymore in it’s legs and had to stop. The Death Saurer stomped on the Liger, causing all the armor to crunch. Then the Death Saurer picked up the Liger and held him in front of one of the faces.
“You will never win,” said the Empric leader.
“Think again,” said the Zempente leader, “I’ve already won.”
Then the Death Saurer swung back it’s other claw and swipe the Liger Zero’s head off. He then dropped the remaining parts of the Liger on the ground and continued on. The man, badly injured, crawled out of the Liger.
“I’m sorry this happened,” said the man to the Liger, “farewell good friend.” The man walked away, back to his captured kingdom.
Years later the battle field still remains. Thousands of zoids are still in shreds all over. Though one heart is still alive, the Liger Zero’s.
One day an organoid was searching out the area. He found the heart of the Liger Zero still beating. So he gathered other organoids to try and rebuild him. Using parts from other zoids, Liger was reborn. So he remains there until this day, awaiting for revenge.
It’s year 2209. Zoids are still around but mostly used in tournaments and stuff like that. My name is Krista Witford. I’m a normal teenager like everyone else. Going to school everyday, getting in trouble at home, the basic stuff. But like everyone else (that I know in school) I’m crazy about zoids. I know so much information about them that I could probally build one. But the only problems now-in-days is that they are so expensive. That’s way not so many people have one.
“Krista. Come help me at the shop,” said my dad.
“Alright,” I said.
My dad works at the largest mechanical store in the city. It’s also the largest dump in this country. Trash and parts always end up here. I have done some exploring, but not much because of it being so big and I may get lost. My dad uses a rented Gustav
for moving parts around. It’s pretty nice except that it is old and a little rusted.
We arrived at the site and I started piling stuff onto the carrier.
“Alright that’s good enough,” said my dad. “I’ll be back in a few hours. You can hang out in the store.” He left and I was heading for the store.
Instead of heading for the store, I decided to go exploring a bit.
After a couple of hours, the sky grew dark and I started to get lost. So I began trailing my way back, but I forgot which way I came from. Then something ran by me.
“Who’s there,” I said.
I heard a shriek-like noise behind me. I followed the sound until I came to a huge hill of garbage. Then there was a loud roaring sound that came from behind the hill. I got frighten and tried to look for a place to hide. But when I turned back around, a zoid I have never seen before emerged from behind the hill. I froze, hoping it wouldn’t see me in the dark. The zoid stopped in front of me and looked down. It’s red eyes starred right through me. Then it lifted up it’s enormous paw, getting ready to pound me to the ground.
“Hey wait,” I shouted to who ever controlled the zoid, “I’m not a trespasser. My dad owns this place.”
The zoid put it’s paw down and leaned it’s head down to get a better look at me. I was so scared that it was going to bit me because it’s mouth was within biting range. Then the zoid got up and turned around.
“Wait, don’t go,” I yelled at him. “Who are you?”
The zoid stopped and turned it’s head back to look at me. It made a little growl noise and three small organoids appeared in front of him. The zoid started walking again while the organoids were escorting me. We walked around the hill and into a forest. After a few minutes we ended up at the entrance of a gigantic cave. We all walked in and for the weirdest reason, there was light. We entered a room so big that I couldn’t see the ceiling or the other side of the room. Fire torches lit the room on all sides. The zoid turned around and sat. I now could see what type of zoid it was. It was a Liger type, but different than anything I have ever seen. It had cables attached to it’s back and to it’s side guns. The cables were also attached to a generator box behind it’s head. Also it had a long, pointy horn on the top of it’s head and a pair of translucent wings on it‘s back.
“You have a pretty nice zoid,” I said to the pilot. The Liger bent down and opened it’s canopy. No one was there!
“There’s no pilot in you,” I questioned him. The Liger shook it’s head no. “Then your controlling yourself?”
The liger roared and sparks came from it’s generator. “Yes,” he said.
“You...you can talk! That can’t be possible!”
“I had a voice box in-planted in me,” he said. “Now I have a question for you. What year is it?”
“2209.”
He roared and stomped the ground, making the cave rumble. Electricity started shooting form his horn. “This can not be! My master is dead.”
“What are you talking about,” I told him.
He turned his head sharply at me and looked at me as if he was going to attack. I took a step back, hoping I didn’t say something wrong. Then I turned and started running towards the cave entrance. I was almost there when seven organoids jumped in front of me and made me stop.
“Get back here,” demanded the Liger.
“But...”
“I said get back here!”
I started walking back towards him. He made growling noises as I approached him. He then laid down and wrapped his tail around me to make sure I wouldn’t run away again.
“Sorry for snapping at you like that,” he told me, “I’m just upset.”
“What happened to you,” I questioned him.
He began telling me stories of his master and the wars between his empire and the Zempente Empire.
“So that’s why you look like this.”
“Yes and I’m getting back at the Zempente leader,” he growled.
“He is dead though,” I told him.
“But I can sense that his Death Saurer is still alive.”
I glanced at my watch and thought about how much trouble I would be in if I wasn‘t at the store when my dad got back. “Well I guess I better be getting back,” I sighed. “Would you like to come stay at my place? It’s better than living in this cave. Maybe I can show you to my dad.”
“I guess it wouldn’t hurt.” He picked me up by his tail and place me on his back. “What is you name by the way,” he question me.
“Krista,” I said as I directed him to the store.
“I’m Energy Liger,” he said.
My dad was already back from his routes and I saw him talking on the phone through the window. I told Liger to wait outside while I went in to get him.
“Where have you been,” yelled my dad as I opened the door.
“Um exploring some..”
“At night! Are you crazy?”
“I’m sorry dad, but I have something to show you.” I directed him outside to the Liger.
“What the,” he said as he starred at the Liger.
“I found him some where out in the dump. He can control his own self and he talks! He used to belong to this guy of the Empric Empire centuries ago, but he died and now he wants to kill the Zempente leader.”
“Hum, some story. Well I need to get a good look at him,” my dad said. He started walking towards him, but the Liger started growling, showing it’s teeth. “What’s wrong with him?”
“He doesn’t trust a lot of people yet,” I told him. I came up to the Liger and told him that my dad wasn’t going to hurt him. He nodded and leaned his head down so I could pet it.
My dad started checking out the machine gun and the generator box. “So what’s your name?”
“Energy Liger.”
“Well Energy Liger, everything looks in good condition. Though you may want a
new paint job.”
Liger picked me up with his mouth and followed my dad to the garage. He then dropped me gently and got onto the ramp. My dad was getting the controls set for his colors.
“Ok stop right there. Now when I push this button it will send you to the paint room,” my dad said to the Liger. With a push of the button, Liger was sent off.
“What colors did you pick,” I asked my dad.
“You’ll see.”
After five minutes or so, Liger came out of the paint room.
“Wow Liger! You look cool, “ said to him.
His armor color was a metallic black with some being gold. Also his claws were gold. His teeth were a pretty silver color.
“Where is the Zempente leader,” questioned Energy Liger as he approached us.
“Well your in luck,” my dad said, “he has a parade going on tomorrow celebrating his birthday.”
“Well I’m going to have to surprise him,” laughed Liger.
“No way,” I said, “there are Chimera and Matrix dragon’s always protecting him. You’ll never even get close.”
“If he’s a relative of the one I fought, I can get to him easily.”
