Did, the neo blox models such as Brachiorakete and Stegogunzer actually have an Anime? or were they just models that never appeared in an Anime?

Nope, they never actually appear. I'm not even sure if they have an actual battlestory, either. >>

They seem to just have fluff with vague ideas of a story in it, mostly of the "these two factions fight and stuff" variety. So no, no anime, and they're not related to the old battle story (nor do they seem to have one of their own).

Ya, on the boxes they do have little faction symbols, but there is not text under it, it is on the little flaps it is some crazy black heraldic symbol with a fiery phoenix dragon thing on it.
I only ordered the "bad" guys so I am not sure what is on the "good" guy boxes.

I've heard it's something about a Dinas Empire (the requisite sauriaphilic empire, whose homeland is always dark and rocky and looks like one of Jupiters moons or something. The also like purples, pinks(??), gunmetal, gold, and some wierd beige-ish pink. I dunno what it is!) and some Republic of SomethingOrOther, that of course likes mammal and bird designs, and the bright, shiny colors of blue, white, and gold. I wouldn't be surprised if their name had something to do with Ligers, but I don't know what it is.
+Didn't the Genesis zoids have a sort-of battle story, that was a teeny bit like the anime, only minus the wunderkid and unique superliger and specific, named characters?+
*But it's got Gildragon!*
(On another note, I'm going mad. I'm getting an increasing urge to buy another Gildragon and but the Genesis horns on it....)

No, the Genesis ones just had a Generic Infoblob from what I could find. Fuzors did too, but one that could link it to the Three Tigers era and thus the battle story, or put it as AU in a similar universe.
The Genesis horns for Gilvy make Tilly something something...

oi The Genesis horns for Gilvy make Tilly something something... "No TV and no beer make Homer something something..." "...go crazy?" "Don't mind if I do!" ...sorry. Quick Simpsons quote. Anyways, Neo-blox(especially LB) don't seem like they could be in an anime and work properly...(I'm daring ya, TOMY!)

...Anyways, Neo-blox(especially LB) don't seem like they could be in an anime and work properly...(I'm daring ya, TOMY!) Actually, I fail to see a problem with translating them to a story. the LBs would be 'tributes to the legendary machines that once battled for supremacy.' Obviously, they were built during a time of peace, used mainly for parades and reenactments. Then, once those who hungered for greed and lusted for power broke away and struck at the Republic, the LegendBlox zoids would be retrofitted. After the first battles, new zoids would be developed. Thus, the NeoBlox are born! See, this canon would let it tie into the Battlestory and the Genesis storyline. What would make it great is that it could show the development into war, instead of starting in the midst of one.

I honestly would never have thought of that. Nice thought, mate.

Oooh... I smell a fanfic brewing... But here's the clincher; the Republic attacks the Empire! Dun dun dun! I mean, we've had Zenebas/Guylos/Neo-Zenebas backstabbing each other and trying to smite the Republic for, like, evar. Time for the Republic to do some evil aggressive poking! Windy wet rocky type poking! To the third degee! And then, when they line ends, Zi's second moon will asplode and smite everybody. Ten, the line will come back with the Genesis story. Doom! Doom! Doooom!

I really don't like the idea of Zi just lapsing back into that pattern so easily...for one, it ruins the nice ending they worked up to with Wolff finally dropping the family hatred thing. The "let's be smitey again" groups had their chance in the Three Tigers story and got squooshed, too - methinks that was meant to be a sendoff, a we're shifting the line to other things finale. Not meteor-style, since that was more "crap, toyline canceled, let's kill everybody", but using the chance to move on. Now, starting a whole different continuity is a different matter. You don't need to connect 'em, Zoids already is splintered all over .

I know. I call it "Fandom Eeevil." With two extra 'e's. Muahaha. But has anyone else gotten the feeling that somebody out there reads all the zoid-related speculation, and strokes the Zoids Story Bible and says "Fools!" and then laughs evily? Is that just me? But that's the thing; since Three Tiger, we haven't really had a story; Fuzors was just zoid-related text, Genesis was sorta-infloblobby, and NeoBlox don't really have a full one (they sort-of tried, though.) That's why anything other than battle-fics seems hard (to me) in the zoids unverses (CC/GF and NC0, mostly); you kind of get stuck. Battlestory/Three Tigers is even more sticky becuse they clearly say "No more nasty evil smiting." And CC/GF-fics always need some random thing to create an enemy, since everybody's cooled their jets by season's end. Ironically, NC0, the series with the least plot, is the best for fanfics; the ending is pretty open. What was I talking about again? But it'd be nifty to see a/The Republic attack an Empire. If only once...

Like when the Republic attacked the Dark Continent in a defensive/preemptive strike? Yeah, the Dark Army nailed them before that, but they were the ones invading there. Or when they invaded the Central Continent under Wolff's control? Taking back homeland, maybe, but homeland he had just as much claim to as Hermann (they're cousins, yo).
There's plenty of doom and action to be had in sports battle and racing and such. I'm sure early sports battle was a LOT more vicious than the sanitized /Zero kind - even Fuzors-era there still seems to be the occasional chance of death/serious injury that's mostly skirted around. Have it be more than just "run on a track lol" racing, and so on. Mystick had some great ideas in that regard.
There's also all the working out peace, getting everybody to get along and clean up the royal mess made of the continent. I'm sure there'd be scattered fighting, and oh MAN the character fun that could be had with that...
I have a copy of the Zoids Bible, it's got no furigana. Bah!
(edit because I can't type)
