 Ped visited me yesterday on my birthday, when i was currently disabled with a foot sprain. He shows me the splendid customs he made, and i do admit i was out of the circle a bit with so much happening at work. Anyway, thanks to a good trade with Seven i was able to dish out a several custom blox that i spent two sunday afternoons creating *kitbash and painting included* The zoids were pretty easy to custom since they are blox with better plastic quality and well detailed pilots (reminds me of GIJOE TARGATS). I feel in love with this critters from the very start, and it inspired me to do customs that have a wider range fof modes aside from combat. Presenting Konchuu Buntai! KONCHUU BUNTAI (insect squad) Deadbusters and Harpers are a dangerous combination. While Harpers provide quick and agile head-on attacks thanks to their low armour, while Deadbusters hone ranged combat and heavy hides. But aside from combat, these insect blox have wider and more varied applications to add to their functions. The zoids are now coupled with modular parts platforms, specializing in jungle assault, surveilance and recon and repair/construction. They look almost unrecognisable as the original BLOX Zoids, they look absolutely awesome! I think the blue team is my favorite - I particularily like the darker shades on the tips of the feet.

The spiders really freak me out.. Especially their faces.. I don't like looking at them due to my fear of eight legged critters..  Like Uncle Stop-Stomp, I like the blue team more.. Less scary. |

you need one more blue one to even it out. i like the color schemes you game them too, blue is the best color but i have to say i like the Jungle Force Team. nice customs!

Wow, wondrous coloured bugs!! Very cute and cool. Now, Construk Bug wants to join you!! He can join us anytime..actually i admit you construct bug is still better painted and constructed than most of these fellas, so i have to raise the quality a bit by retouching these little critters. It's the attack of the 8 legged monsters! I suppose they're on the same team, and should give the Muteki Dan (from genesis) team a run for their money.

I like your customs, and better yet you custom them for different missions and camouflage according to the tasks, which gives each of them an individuality feel. I posted in a previous topic of having a variety of Zoids in the battle versus having one Zoids to defeat everyone (ala anime). People should acknowledge in the real world either at war or at peace, there are many people working in different areas that make the society function normally, and in the Zoids world that should be the same. Great job, hope to see more from you!!!  |

I also believe that there is more than war for zoids, so its function will be more diverse than just battling each other.....maybe in the future we have rescue units to space units... and yes you will be seeing more customs from me. ;D ZOID ON! *clears throat* I, for one, think the Jungle Team is cooler. Why? I guess it looks more realistic.

Great job, the colors are on target, the concepts are creative, and most of all, I couldn't recognize the customs as the original blox. One thing though, I think more diversity would have helped. I don't know if there are other blox like these, but having the same Zoid in different catagories is almost... cliche, by the time you get to the end of the pics, the colors are awesome, but they are "just another spider" or just another (w/e the other hting is). I think more diversity in each squad as to which Zoids serve which would make a little more interesting combo.  In other words, make more. |
