paints really sketchy at best man ,is this hand paint again?, i still see alot of blue and i can see the dirt from assembly all over, it's best to let the paint cure in a warm arid area, you must have patients, i easily mess up customs when i get to excited and try to put them together before they done cooking, still now i have this problem and wash your hands when assembling any dirt ,paint, ewwwwy ,on your hands get right on the paint ,especially white, you gotsta use the spray man a good solid primer first, for meeh preferably krylon camoflague gray, or white, or khakis, then you can paint it any light color spray paint you like, as for the build, it's original, but not your best i have faith in time you'll definitely find your style, so keep zoiding man fellow ligers unlimited spectre/deads

Well you seriously gotta stop using those humbrol paints mano. And for the love of goddess try to remeber to wash the parts and undercoat. This is a quite nice blox bash, it looks realy dinosaurey, but hte bleedthrough on your paint is letting you down. You;ve got to hae a games workshop store near by, those bastards are evreywhere. go grab some skull white, and ditch that flaky cheap enamel gunk forever. you will be glad you did.

Flat white enamel is quite good mind you, I'll show ya a pic of my +- finished DA lizard a bit later and paint there is very nice and smooth. I prefer enamels over GW stuff because they're a stronger fit and feel much better when you touch (or its just me, but I used both enough to pick a favorite). As for you, Van, try spraying it on or using a good brush. Then of course don't forget that practice makes perfect, so just practice.

Van, like I've always said, I like your kitbash and designs, very creative and original, but I have to agree that you should try spray paint, or use a mild retarder if you want to hand paint to eliminate brush strokes.
I'm sure you'll still improve a lot so long as you keep on customizing. So keep those customs rolling off the line, ok.
darth on.

I like the zoid's design, I wish I had one, but you need to work on the painting a little bit.

Like others have mentioned, the painting is messy. Like your other customs, I really like the build! You should've covered up the empty parts of those side missile launchers with some styrene sheets or putty. They are so visible. You just need more patience when painting

What exactly do Primers do? I never touch them before for my customs And yeah, you need a tab mor patience, Van. With that, you will advance into even greater heights

With that, you will advance into even greater heights well i admit i don't primer everything i paint unless i want two highly different colored parts the same color soooo, it does work or if i paint something white or a light colored paint it helps cover every part and bring out the color of the paint not the plastic

primer is a paint that is flat and rough and allows a better bond between plastic and paint

mightbe sensible to ask the following: Where do you get tour supplies from van? it seems that whereever you get stuff from, thye obviously dont give advise as well. So i'm guessing you grab em from the local department store. It might be worth finding a nearby hobby shop, and seeing what you can get there.
