Hey all! I've been away for a while (sorry) but I have a new custom to show (and hopefully more time to post). So here's my repaint of Battle Cougar- Grotusque. The first pic isnt even a Zoid, it has a Transformers logo on it.

I really like those colors, that's probably the first color scheme for a Battle Cougar that I actually like.

Anyways, really nice job. You can really see the panel lines on the wings. The silver parts on the wings also look very nice along with the blades on the fan. They look nice and sharp. |

I like it. I like it a lot. In fact, I like it so much that it's changed some ideas I've had on my forthcoming "Roayl" Battle Cougar. (Coming Soon. Really!)

The Battle Cougar is too elegant to be Grotusque. But the color scheme reminds me of other Autobots, so that's ok. good job, gojulasprime23.

Sorry for the confusion about the Transformers pic and my actual custom. I modified the post so hopefully it's a bit more clear.
And yeah, Battle Cougar is too elegant of a Zoid to be called Grotusque, but I wanted to do an homage to G1 Transformers with this custom, and Grotusque was the closest Transformer I've seen to a Griffyn. He's a tiger/eagle instead of a lion/eagle, but I liked the colors. So the name is more of an homage than a description.

Detail on the wings with the silver color is cool too. Almost makes me wish I'd picked up one of these when they were uber-cheap at TRU. Ah well . . . Oh, and the Transformers inspiration is something different too. I like your thinking on it. |
