sorry i try say this but i not be so clear for yo
if zoid has motor at it start it rotate leg joint round but like train it has bar run to front leg or hind leg so if leg is rotate it pushes bare back and lil bar on middle is pushd if it nice tight it look like seesaw and pul top bar back to and cause hind leg to stick out toward midle of body while front leg rotate it start pul bar and cause opposit efect so with good ruber grip it make zoid run like animal do in wild.

Oooh, fun. If it works and the Zoid holds up, that'd be really cool. Good luck-I'm only good at taking things like motors apart, not putting them back together properly.

For a battery operated Zoid, you'd likely have to: 1. Open up the motor housing. Going on memory (I'm on duty tonight and can't pull a Zoid off the shelf to look), these are most often glued together, so count on some light-to-medium cutting along the seams. 2. Then you should have to just remove the plastic parts that are attached to the motor, that the legs attach to, and then align them so that they start at the same point when the motor turns on. Again, some light cutting and probably gluing to reattach the pieces. Note that you'd only have to do this once on each side of the Zoid (for example, the front right and back left).
For a windup Zoid: 1. Since these usually only operate the hind legs with a very thin metal pin, you'd have to disconnect the pin and reinsert it so that it faces the same direction as the other, or possibly heat the metal to the point you can bend it into the same direction. I would imagine this to be more difficult than the battery operated type, since there's a chance you'll wind up snapping the pin completely (but might be able to recover it if you're decent at welding). The best tool would probably be a small soddering iron, but you might be able to pull it off with a cigarette lighter. I wouldn't recommend doing either alone if you've no experience with this. 2. Since the pin generally only controls the hind legs, you may or may not need to modify the support that moves the fore legs. I guess that would depend on the particular model you're working with.
The easiest to try this on would be a battery operated; there's less of a chance you'll render the motor useless, it involves no use of heating, and wind up motors are typically rather small (even a large wind up motor is rather small).
Hope this helps. I might give it a try myself just to see if I can pull it off; I've got a spare Redler and Command Wolf motor that'll make decent guinea pigs.

A full-blow running Zoid. Not walking; running.
Ambitious, most certainly. My best wishes in your efforts!
