I want to know if there is an inexpensive way to cut out a picture of a zoid from a picture, I'm talking about using the magic wand, will a neon green poster board work or what?
Sorry if this is in the wrong category, I didn't know where to post it and thought maybe I'm customizing a pic of a zoid?

You are asking what's the best background to use so that you can cut the Zoid from the background and edit the picture of the Zoid? I've done that a few times, a white background seems to work well but only if the Zoid has no white. Basically you want to use a color that is very different from the Zoid's colors so that when you use the Magic Wand it doesn't select parts of the background too. -Phenotype

;Di usually just spend an hour with an average paint program and edit it

I took this into GIMP the other day, and had removed the background in a matter of minutes. It was pretty close, but the edge wasn't perfect-it'd be better to do on the pic before you shrink it to a better size for the web. ...pity the end result (a pic for a menu) ended up not getting used in my final design for the layout anyway.

Ummmm, I still see the window and such in the background?

Yeah, because I wanted to show what I took out, not it gone.
I can upload the layout thing later, but it's heavily edited from there and rather small.

I was gonna say, if you're using photoshop, just paint in a mask.
