I figure since I just started making Zoids models that maybe some of you would be willing to help me figure out the best one to start with. I made 2 already, but those were really just a spur of the moment buy. I'm not really into the series(I watched some of the episodes, so I liked the idea of getting some models since they look cool). Right now I bought a Shellkarn and a Deantler, plus a custom weapon(CP-15 Assult Gattling Gun) , which I though I could use with any model, but I learned I was wrong. Anyways, I figure since I'm going to the store where I found the models to get either an Elaphander or Blade Liger to use the custom weapon that I might try some other models. So if anybody has any ideas for what I might have a fun time making please tell me.

I would buy the Elephander. It has more features than the Blade liger, such as multiple changeable weapons and many moving parts.

Any others while I'm at it? I got plenty of money to spend, and enough freetime since I only have a part-time job.

The Assault Gatling Also works with a Geno Saurer, but it looks great on Elephander. As for which zoids to buy I would recommend Geno Saurer or Geno Breaker since they are my favorites and also failry entertaining to build. However if you want to really indulge you might try some of the bigger ones like Gojulas or Ultrasaurus/

if you find Berserk Fuhrer(Fury) its a must have. still banging myself on head for missin quite a bit of chances to get 1. I like ligers more so i would choose blade liger over elephander, also Liger Zero is nice but needs CASes to be ubber. get Shadow Fox, it can use nearly all CP units, and the whole 15 (no need to split ot even). Out of big ones i'd say mad thunder or ultrasaurus, they look real nice. Also look at Red Horns, i like they way they look.

For the larger Zoids, I'd have to say a Geno Saurer (or Breaker). Elephander is nice, lots of hard points, same with a Gordos. Mediums: I'd say Command Wolf, Shodaow Fox, Warshark is nice, maybe a Raynos. Smaller ones (including Blox) Gun Sniper, Godos, Rev Rapter, Leoblaze, Unenlagia. Boldguard, and Leostriker are cool too.

I went back to the store that had some models, but sadly they dont have any elephander models, and the only Liger they had was the Energy Liger. I ended up getting angry and leaving with just a Gojulasgiga, a Gun Sniper, and a Command Wolf. Maybe I'll look online and find an Elephander next paycheck. Until then I'll just spend my time painting the models so they look even better.

For smaller wind-ups, I like Storch, Iguan, and Helcat/Atak Kat...but most of them are easy to build anyway.
Medium-size wind-ups...definitely Command Wolf and Redler...dunno about others. They're probably the kind of Zoid I have the fewest of...but Command Wolf I have...uh...5 built, 2 not, one half-painted. Oh, and Shadow Fox.
Battery ops...there's a ton. Shield Liger and Saber Tiger/Zaber Fang are classics and pretty easy, Red Horn and Dark Horn are nice and stompy...Liger Zero's cool, but bits of it tend to fall off, and it'll tempt you to buy more, what with all the armors. Salamander/Pteramander is a must, imo-try looking for a cheap one at KB Toys. Gunbluster and Gordos(aur) are good too, and most KBs seem to still have them cheap.

Even though someone said buy an Elephander instead of Blade Liger because-----THE ELEPHANDER TAKES LIKE 10 HOURS JUST TO BUILD ITS BODY!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHH!!!!! and the Blade Liger only takes about an hour to an hour and thirty minutes...
Hey does anyone know how on Fuzors how that guy got Liger Zero?? Stupid question, I know, but how?

I prefer things that take a long time to build, it took me about 6 hours to build 3 models a couple days ago. I'm gonna hand paint my gun sniper to take up some of my free time(plus I need to get it tiny areas since I glued a new weapon and boosters to it). Once I get it nice and pretty I'm gonna enter it in the contest. But I think I need one more thing for the back, cause its seems a bit empty. I figure I'll find something soon, then work hard on it for a week.

Elephander does not take up 10 hours just to build its body. At most it would take an hour. Blade Liger does take up that amount of time, roughly. About R.D.- He's lucky. That is the only reason, IMO.
