Two questions regarding the Zoids battle story:
1. Where did this Neo Zenevas group come from? I though the entire Zenevas army was absorbed into Guylos.
2. The story says that both Helic and Guylos retreated to the Eastern Continent, an unexplored region so none of them were sure what they'd find. Does the battle story mention anything about new people or Zoids?

1. Where did this Neo Zenevas group come from? I though the entire Zenevas army was absorbed into Guylos. Yep, they were absorbed, at least as far as the Guylos were concerned. But it looks like most of them were just hiding within the Guylos Empire, bidding their time until they could reform the Zenevas Empire. Guess the Guylos Empire wasn't really big on intelligence gathering and spying, they should really work on that... They did? I don't remember that part.....

I'm not up with the current battle story, but the map in volume 1 of the Zoids manga says the eastern continent is a mysterious, unexplored region. The manga is based on the battle story, so far as I can tell, if it helps.

I think ZOITEC (the place making most of the Blox, at least the early designs and the BCAS) is there...
Also, Leogator and Dimetroptera's data (which is the same other than a few words, lazy Tomy) mentions that the Republic had taken back a few spots and secured enough of their production line to mass-produce the two, presumably to take back more:
So far, the making of new-type machines by the Republic army had been delayed because the production bases on the central continent had fallen out of their control. But the Republic Army was able to take back a few of the bases, and succeeded in securing their production line. Finally, they reached their aim of local manufacture of new-type main force/leading mass-production machines The Republic army immediately launched production of a new-type machine.
That machine was Leogator.
Carrying the new-type core Block "TB8", it boasts of power output like that of a regular Zoids's core, cancelling out the power shortage that was the weakness of Blox up until now. (note: TB8 is "8-piece Transform Block") With the transformation function in the core block itself, it has the ability to freely change its form from the land-battle-type Liger Mode to the Alligator Mode for use in underwater battles.

If I read the story correctly, however, most of the original Zenevas soldiers should have been dead of old age by the time this uprising occured.

Yeah, that poses a problem...
I imagine that they were the original Zenevas soldiers and civilians children, and that they were brought up and told about the glory of the old Zenevas Empire, and how it would rise up one day and blah blah.

If you read the Manga timeline it says that Zoidians lived for very long times, maybe that could explain it.
