Are yours made by tomy? My hasbro ones dont swivel, and I wouldnt put it past hasbro to screw something like that up. (I HATE hasbro with a serious vengence, my buster eagle feathers broke when i put them on, so I know they are chep little, no, I wont curse, I am too nice.) DING DING DING We have a winner - yeah, it's a Hasbro version

Yeah, my RedHorn and Hammerhead had severe cases of flash and seam lines (From the mold, not assembly). I was able to save the RedHorns, but not the HH. Poo

I have three Liger Zero variants. Two of them suffered from whee-let's-fling-the-front-leg-armor-off-when-I-walk syndrome.
One was Hasbro, the other Tomy.
My Hasbro Gordos didn't have the greatest of plastic, but the grey on my Japanese Double Sworder was kind of annoying too.

The KillerDome legs I got were ones that didn't like to be sanded; the parts got all fuzzy when I tried that. This is a US KD, BTW

I doubt you'd find a plastic that will stay super shiny after sanding it with tiny bits of sharp sand, here or in Japan. What's with all the Hasbro bashing tonight? I love Hasbro for the most part. Zoids, Alternator Zoids, they rock. Sure they make little mistakes here and there but I'd rather have the kits than not. If I sat here and counted how much money I saved by buying NAR stuff, it would be insane. Viva la Hasbro! jryu The KillerDome legs I got were ones that didn't like to be sanded; the parts got all fuzzy when I tried that. This is a US KD, BTW

It's possible to get back t he shine. Use very fine sandpaper, 1000 grit and finer, and some elbow grease!

Will priming the sanded part (to fill in the gaps and smoothen it) and painting it over with gloss paint work?

You can also polish out minor scratches with fabric...cotton, like a pair of jeans or something. Just don't melt the piece...

I swapped the piece that fell off my Imperial Liger for one from my other Liger Zero X, and it fit just fine...and yeah, I'm sure they were on the right sides-I tried that . The red was slightly different...the Tomy one was a bit deeper, the Hasbro a bit more shiny. Probably just the batch of plastic, as more shiny kinds tend to vary.
