Hi mates! Do you guys know how to disassemble a BLOX connector? Like the ones found in the middle of LeoBlaze? I am about to paint him, but don't want the paint to touch the blue plastic stuff inside. (Lazy to mask ) And er, what's with the different coloured bloxes? My LeoBlaze has one Silver Blox, whilst the rest are Black. Thanks! GW

The silver blox is the "core" blox that's what I found out when reading through the English instructions of the Ltd Cannon Diver

As far as I know, no one has ever chopped up a Blox before. Too tightly sealed, and probably hard to put back again. And seal marks. Ugh.
And the Blox colors aren't for decor-- 'core Blox' (the silver ones) are what controls the Zoid itself, which is why you see them being connected either to the head or the cockpit of the zoid.
Black Blox are for ground-based Zoids, Dark Blue Blox are for aquatic, and Light Grey Blox are for aerial.
The color of the rubbery plastic inside denotes the faction-- if blue, Helic Republic, if red, then Neo-Zenevas. Or Guylos. Can't really tell between the two.
That it, methinks. Oh, and if you really want to paint your Blox, then just shove the hemispherical end of one of the Blox joints inside, and Blu-tack the rim. Should do the trick.

Just paint it and then use a small brush and some thinner to remove the paint, that's what I did with my Blox customs. -Phenotype

I inked all my BLOX panel lines in with a technical illustrator's pen (That's what FSM called it...) Even the ones that are spares. I'm such a dork ;D

To disassemble a blox, just sqeez the tip of a long-nose plyer in the rubber part and just pull the plyer open until you see the blox start separating. From there just use a flat tip screw driver and put the tip in that opening and just work your way around the blox until it separates. (Thats the clearest way I can explain my procedure )

I've noticed that the BLOX on my Hasbro dsigned BLOX Zoids seem to have more glue spillover than the non-Hasbro designs, but maybe that's just me

What I don't understand are those "I" shaped grey connectors use to connect Buster Eagles wings and legs. They're labeled as joints in the instructions, but don't move. Not much of a joint then eh?

Are you talking about the main pieces that connect each leg to the body? If so, I'm not sure what you're talking about because the ones on mine swivel like a joint. Are they supposed to swivel? Cos' I'm scared to try that-- my brother did that yesterday, and they made this loud click sound that panicked me. I thought he broke it. I don't really see a need to shivel them, though.
