Just got back from shopping, I picked up a Battle Cougar at Meijer (Whoever wanted a Nightwise, they had some there), an Iguan and a Gator at KB, I reserved Final Fantasy:Crystal Chronicles, and I picked up Love Hina Vol. 10 (I know the last few aren't Zoid related, but I just felt like telling you guys ). Here are my impressions of the Battle Cougar (Box Stage): Battle Cougar: Box is very light, and was nearly dwarfed by the Energy Liger next to it. The back is the usual stuff, and the quotes are, as always, hilarious. "Adjustable Jaw!", "Cockpit Opens!", Pose and Bend the Wings!", and my favorite, "Beast-Walking Action!" (Yes, the exclamation points are really on the box) Oh, and it lists the BC's type as "Griffon". I thought it was spelled "Griffin". Anyone know the proper one here? Sorry for the long post, I'll post again when the BC's done.

Gr... it sucks that they're no meijer's anywhere around here. I've been waiting for a battle cougar since it came out with technozoids.
And it doesn't really matter how Griffon is spelled, considering it's a fictional animal. I've even seen it spelled Gryphon.

Nightwise was $6.99, $2 more than at Target, I think. (When Target had them) BC is built, here's my opinion: Good: It actually walks, unlike most of my Zoids I can probably put some underwing stores on it, if I can order them I may be able to scratchbuild something for the grade-up port, as Tres Wright did on his GulTiger. It has special decals Bad: Legs are hollow Rear legs are molded in one piece Cockpit piece doesn't fit in very snugly, and doesn't have clear eyes The colors Odd: Where's the odd gun? Why can't Hasbro rerelease Grade-Up weapons? It's really small for a Batt-op. Overall, It's pretty good.

Special decals? Can you describe them? I forgot to mention this on the Battle Cougar page on my site. It comes with two custom stickers of a Rose, very cool. -Phenotype

Are there any other cases of Hasbro making their own custom stickers?

Not that I know of. They may do this with the future rereleases, though, and the rose could be a sticker from the actual old Grade-up.

Hmmm. Maybe this isn't in fact a hasbro designed sticker, perhaps Tomy is planning a Grade Up re-release and this is their design that Hasbro is using.

That'd be cool, Especially since JP rereleases would likely have Grade-Up weapons with them, and colors that weren't so eye-searing.

Are there any other cases of Hasbro making their own custom stickers? Actually Lord Gale is wrong, Hasbro made custom stickers for Gravity Saix, the cheetah spots. You guys assume too much, Hasbro's not inept, I'm sure they're capable of making custom stickers. -Phenotype

Forgot that one, Thx Pheno . You can tell when the sticker sheets are Hasbro's when the Zoid's name at the bottom is in English, normally it's in Japanese, kanji I think.
