Isn't it the older people that pay for the toys anyways? I spend well over 50 dollars a month, and im only 13. Yeah, its my dad that has to make up for the loss, but hes rich. Anyways, Due to Hasbros lack of releasing new zoids, I've actually been spending my hard borrowed money on Mega Bloks Dragons, because they ROCK!

I did make a petition on the zoid fans group to get more zoids, but only like 10 people said their suggestions, come on it's our fault were not poking hasbro with a sword instead of little twigs.

Well they probably wouldnt do a thing, they are just out their to please people, who they are aiming at, wich is younger children. A little 9 year old probably doesnt care what faction the zoid is on, all he cares about is putting the Liger Zero, Berserk Furher, and Shadow Fox on his "perfect" team.

Yes, I see what you mean Wolfy. And I thought I was the only 13 year old around here. Hm, I guess not. Hoorah! I'm no longer alone! *dances in happiness* *ahem* Sorry. Anyways... if pleasing their people is all that matters to hasbro, and these people are the kids.... I say we get the KIDS to make a petition and have them write what we wanna say!

Yeah....., but they did release a pseudo Iron Kong PK, which will negate most of their silly mistakes....., if they ever bring Gojulas out and make it a pseudo Gojulas the Ogre, I'll be quite happy with Hasbro....., for a while at least.., lol

According to Hasbro, Zoids are meant for children 6-8 years old. The shame... Go to their website and search under the 6-8 category. They're there....

I'd love to see a little 6 year old trying to put a giga together. They'd need therapy afterwards!

Interesting forums guys, as you may notice I am new around, doesn't matter that much though... Anyway, on with the topic, if you analize it, most of the ZOIDS released by Hasbro are easily built, also, their main consumer group is conformed by young kids.

Well, when you think about it, zoids are "meant" for children 6-8, but when they try putting together Dark Spiner or Elephander or Liger Zero or the Fuhrer together, who do they run to? The parents. Or Grandparents. Or whoever their guardians are. So really, these zoids are meant for the guardians of children ages 6-8. I mean, I went to Toys R Us a little while ago and saw Ultrasaurus there for 80 bucks. What 8 year old's parents are gonna buy them something that's that much money? And even if they did, they'd assume it's previously built because of how huge it is, and then the kid would have the parent build it FOR them, and the parents would be so fed up that they'd never buy another zoid again. This age group is waaay to young to start zoiding if you ask me.

Sorry, I think I didn't make my point clear enough, Hasbro's main consumer group is conformed by young kids, and by this, I mean that most of their toys are directed to the kids around 6-8 years old. So they wouldn't be favoring their sales if they marked zoids "For ages 13+", or something of the sort, given that the young kids are really attracted by the type of toy zoids are, not because they have to put them together, but because they are cool looking. So, you can't really blame Hasbro for looking forward to bigger profits, can you?

Hm... I guess you do have a point there. Although, an interesting thing is that any time I go to Toys R Us, I'm ALWAYS the only one viewing the zoids (and gundams, since they're directly next to the zoids). And the one time I saw someone in KB Toys looking at zoids, he looked to be 11 or 12 and his brother looked 4. I suppose that one should not presume a toy is not for oneself if it does not list one's age group.

I dont agree with the 6 - 8 deal, thats just outrageous, but the fact remains that we still build them, customize them, and stare in aw at them. I think the design of the zoids like konig wolf and geno breaker are awsome, and i salute Tomy and Hasbro for this, but do you see little kids appriciating the actual design of the zoid.

I certainly don't. I see 'em making little gun noises and smashing them against other zoids. Whereas we can watch Konig's fan go on and on and on, an 8 year old sees it, says "that's cool I guess" and disregards the idea thereafter.

Exactly. When i built my geno breaker i actually said to my self, wow, that leg is cool, looks like the giga's. then I relized that i was talking to myself, and told myself to shut up.
