Gonna be a pretty penny... but at least it's available. I don't think I can afford things like this

Not to distract the thread, but I would LOVE to see an AZ line of the entire OJR series... a remake from the ground up that improves on those designs.
To keep this thread ON TRACK, I have a serious question for our overseas shoppers; what services do you use to acquire one of these kits, and is there any pre-order news for DS yes?

There's no pre-order for Deathy yet but they're currently expected to open in April.
Where you choose to order depends on some personal preference factors. I like getting kits when they release, so I tend to use AmazonJP where possible. Partially because I like seeing the shipping up front (a lot of services won't tell you) and because I like the pre-order guarantee (you'll get the lowest price the item hits during the entire pre-order period, which over a period of 6 months or so, can save you a few bucks.) Amazon JP feels the fastest to ship kits to me. You pay cost upon the item's release date.
If you're more patient, though, stores like USA Gundam Store are a good option. They tend to get their kits 2 (sometimes more) months late, but this is less of an issue if you've got a backlog of projects already. The plus side is that it tends to do $10 flat rate shipping within the US. So, it can come out cheaper, even when taking currency conversion into account. You pay cost up front.
Other good options are HLJ, which has a 'ship to warehouse' option (let's you store the kit for free for a month or so, in case you can't afford both the cost and shipping at the same time). HLJ can be known for high shipping costs, and you pay when the item releases. Ordering from Yahoo Japan through buyee is also an option. The AZ kits have been hitting YJ for less than direct sales prices. Not sure how their shipping shakes out yet, for a single AZ kit.

That's a lot of great info, Hanyoutai! I really appreciate it. I've ordered through USA Gundam before without regrets, so I might use that option since I'm in the States... sometimes they have pre-order options as well on major releases.

Private Warehouse at HLJ has actually been effectively unlimited since the pandemic. They're obviously regretting that because they realized at some point they couldn't put the toothpaste back in the tube and limit it to 6 weeks again like they used to, and you'll get lots of nagging e-mails, but I've had them hold things for months while I've waited for other preorders to release to make it worth the shipping cost. If you buy things regularly, they're a great source.

Oh wow, I didn't realize they'd never gone back! I remember even over a year ago people talking about the nagging E-mails, haha. That's really good to know!

Gonna be a beast! If on schedule, we should be able to pre-order in April!

I may be wrong here, but isnt that the same LED set up from the Bio Tyranno? It sure looks like the same lens. Im kinda torn here. I would REALLY like an HMM Deathsaurer and Gilvader, but this ticks off the right boxes on a want list. Is the price listed yet?

More details leaked to further rabidize the collectors...
(looks like Pheno's can't support any more picture files! I'll have to look into this ASAP)

Assuming the details are the fan/converter and the firing stance and core. This is so far the clearest look at the core we've gotten with the AZ kits. I'm more excited about the pandering to anime fans than I thought I'd be. Including the Charged Particle Converter as an option part and the chest-opening gimmick from The Final Four was such a nice move for older fans. Looking forward to seeing how that firing sequence looks in action!

Apparently all of the pistons on the Death Saurer actually expand and contract as it moves! That's an impressive detail, and I think a first for this large of a scope.
