I dont know the Patlabor series/films, so I can only assess this at face value; Super not into the Cop aesthetic at all. Hard pass.
Crossover product is pretty cool in general and I hope we get more crossovers.

Huh! Personally I think crossovers are weird because my OCD brain can’t accept them as canon and if they’re non-canon I don’t see the point. That said, this is one of the better crossovers I’ve seen.

I know this doesn't make any sense, but... yeah. This Zoid coming out might actually finally motivate me to watch some Patlabor, but I'll probably hate it.

In this case it helps that it fits well. They are plausible partners. It's a K-9 unit! And Labors are on the smaller side of mecha, so the Wild scale (which was bugging me before) is now more appropriate (assuming I had some 1/24 scale Patlabor models, which I don't). Patlabor has a pretty nice art style, it's not my favorite mecha series by any stretch but it has legitimacy to the max. Really feels realistic with those flexible-fabric-covered joints for dust protection

Really cool for a crossover! Gotta ignore that scale, of course!

A quick net search reveled them to be in 1/60,1/43 and 1/35 scales.

The Koning Wolf box states (blindly) that the Zoid is only 8.64 meters tall... or about the height of just over 4 men. In actuality, it is WAY larger than that! Even at that scale, the Konig looks DOWN into the face of the Labor.

Even at that scale, the Konig looks DOWN into the face of the Labor. Yeahhh zoids scale has always been tough. However, this isn't a König wolf, it's a Hunter Wolf, which is a mere 4.4 meters tall. Perfect size for a companion for an 8-meter humanoid! and since Wild Zoids are 1:35 (Not 1:24 as I thought) then that means it'd be compatible with what Bill found. If I could justify over 100 bucks, I'd get one of those and try to track this puppy down. Hell maybe I'd put the rest of my Wild Zoids on a shelf with that, so it was like "here is my 1:35 shelf, they are all friends with the Patlabor"

Ah, my bad! Wow... wrong puppy! Seems I'm suffering from Liger Syndrome (all Zoid kitties look the same) but with puppies!

It doesn't help that Wild keeps retreading already-used Zoid paradigms such as "fox with gatling gun" and "Liger with blades" but it seemed like, before it... died? They were at least trying something new with a heroic dino with changing armor and a villainous red liger with gatling.

My undying love for the Zero Grizis notwithstanding, the Burning Liger and the Xenorex were by far the best in the line and also up there with some of the best of all time.
