Looking at it again, I think my problem is that with the long legs, the proportions are almost humanoid, and so now it looks like a dude in a Salamander costume. Has anyone else seen the zoids cosplay costumes? I may have to put a few pics up of these clever people! You made me think of them!

I don't know, to me it looks like a kaiju.. before it was one type of kaiju that might have a human inside with some difficulty, now it's another.. neither has good wing-arm structure though so it does look incomplete

It just bothers me when the proportions look so weirdly humanoid - I have the same problem with the HMM Gojulas, its arms are too long and so it looks like a human in a costume now.

I just realized my avatar is a picture of my HMM Gojulas from an angle that makes the arm look enormous. I don't know what this means, but I thought I'd point it out before someone else does.

oooh, like the design. A NJR(this one thinks) Salamander was one of the last few kits this one got during highschool, back when zoids were still available at reasonable prices. Probably one of the last non HMM/Wild kits we got overall. Would love to get them a cousin.

Hello people!!!
Again!!!
We are only a few of us left, even having ZOIDS wild as a renewal of the saga.
Im so happy Kotobukiya is still making our HMMs. Is this kit out already? Sorry if I'm a bit out of everything.

Not out yet... I don't think they've announced a date on it.

Maybe we will get a colored sample at the upcoming Shizuoka Hobby Show 2024 event in May.

Not the colored sample, but the grey prototype.

I hope the series are revived.
Wild was a nice chance for the series.

Salamander is still in the works, but as a big Zoid, will take some time. They're aiming for summer or later 2025. Last we heard in the stream a week or so ago they've been working on the prototype, which they hope to show off at an event this year~ Didn't clarify which one. We got WF coming up this month. Not sure what other hobby shows .
