Now that my zoids have their very own room I've had a chance to sort some of them out. Naturally I have MIB's, Builts, Brokens in need of repair and a salvage pile. The later being the subject of this thread. Last week on my day off I repaired a few, 5, zoids. I had boughten some used, missing pieces zoids, broken zoids thruout time to use as parts fodder. Fixing 2 Terox with broken tails with a few that were with missing pieces but good tails was 2 of the 5 repairs. Reattaching broken things on a few others finished out that 5. After some sorting out of what can and can't be fixed I am down to about 6 more to repair and what is left. What is left is what the thread is about basically. My zoids junkyard. I have 2 Terox bodies with a limited ammount of spare weapons some of wich may be wind up being used as swapping out old display ones with fading chrome turning ghost. One body has a busted tail stud thus almost complete fodder. Or for my later experiment of tail assembly rebuild, reconcept and replace. Stang a darn near complete one missing a few legs one of which is completely broken and mangled. A Spartak missing head, motor and a few odds and ends. Some unidentified parts not from any I currectly have built thus don't recall what they might go to. Of coarse several little men. One with his legs chopped off puzzled as to why. Anyway I was wondering if any other zoiders also have their very own zoids junkyard? If so what's in it?

It's weirdly satisfying replacing parts like that, isn't it? I don't have any broken stuff anymore (used to, sold it) but I do have some spare motors I managed to pick up, since so many of them use similar motors. Slightly related but it's also weirdly satisfying taking two color variants of one kit and swapping their parts, if you think the color combos work better that way.

I have a customs stockpile. In it I have probably 10 kits, but the remnants of another 100 kits... that doesn't include things like toy and model parts from other lines and sources.

I did a color swap on my gators many years ago robostrux and technozoids color remix. The green of the robostrux with the orange of the technozoids. Then the gold of the technozoids with the brown/tan of the robostrux. They seemed to go together way better to me. Color swap outs are a great way to get a different look to a zoid.

I recently bought another junk yard on Ebay. Basically I saw a part I needed/wanted to finish a build. So I had to bid on the whole thing since the seller didn't resond to messages thru ebay channels. It should be here soon. Then I can see what else is in the pile. May do a color swap if allowed, enough pieces are there, on some of the other parts spied. I may just start buying these parts lots just for the extra fodder and to finish fixes of the ones in need. I won't go into detail on how they were broken, unless prompted, but let's just say the wife came very close to never being married in the 1st place!
