As some of you may know, I've been attempting to create a YouTube channel for Zoids. My vison of this channel is a sort of Trekyard's, Eckhert's Ladder, or Star Wars Explained for Zoids, where we go over a Zoid's abilities, weaponry, and history, using both footage from the anime, photos from the actual model kits, and maybe even video games to demonstrate these points. Other ideas includes events and other topics (ex. Meteor Disaster of ZAC 2056, How Zoids Battles Actually Work).
However, between doing the script, recording the voiceovers, finding the necessary images, loading and editing the video clips, doing the original artwork, and whatever other editing that is required has proven to be very time-consuming. So time consuming, that I haven't finished a single video. And that's before building actual model kits for videos, which is something else I want to do. I honestly haven't even finalized the channel's name, although Assembly Required and Zoid's Hangar are two names I've brainstormed.
And then I was talking to a coworker, who helps generate content for a Pokemon Youtube Channel called False Swipe Gaming. He says that they have 6 people help run the channel (not including him), and then it occurred to me that perhaps running a YouTube channel all by myself is not the best approach to this, especially if I want to resume building the kits that I'm attempting to make these videos for in the first place!
And so I posit the question: is there anyone here interested in not only helping me get the first few videos up and running, but also in a collaborative effort to running this channel? Sure, there are Japanese YouTube channels, but I think that the English community needs one too.
