Will this drive down the price on the older HMM Godos I wonder.

The original HMM Godos was 4,200 yen. Kotobukiya also announced in the blog that they will be doing a live assembly for the Rev Raptor on September 10.

Preorder is up on HLJ... I still have two unbuilt of the previous version and one built of the first, so I'm gonna pass.

I'm only getting it so I can have it displayed with the alternate head. Normally, I have a strict rule against buying doubles of the same kit, but I will only cover a Marking Plus Ver. or a Repackage Ver. if one of my HMM kits are either broken or incomplete or if I want to display it in a different form. I bought the 022 RZ-041 Liger Zero Marking Plus Ver. to display it in it's base form without the armor. But then I used parts from my Jager Unit, Schneider Unit, and Panzer Unit to create Ray Gregg's Liger Zero from the Battle Story, so I bought MPV's of the Jager and Schneider Units. I did not cover the Panzer Unit MPV so I got an MPV of the 032 RZ-041 Liger Zero Panzer to display it in it's base form. I bought the 036 RBOZ-006 Dibison MPV because my Dibison Thoma/Thomas Ver. was missing leg armor.

With the pile bunker unit coming out this can be attached (as seen in anime), as well as having the Weasel CP, there are multiple configurations of having a godos.

And since the Godos shares interchangeable parts with Iguan and Pteras, the customizing capabilities for this model are further expanded.

I wonder if they realize the money they can make if they put out a run of some of these in European Release colors? I would love to see a red version of this...

I dont know why I was thinking they did the Godos in red...It was the Pteras, Stealthviper, and Gustav that had red versions in Europe among others.

An HMM version of the Robostrux Spartak is never going to happen since none of the Robostrux kits were released in Japan. You probably won't see any USA Zoids get HMM remakes.
