Yes~ There was a thread for it, but it did not generate enough interest to stay on the front page (it is on like, page 3). It is still in stock on Hobby Search, but better be quick! It has sold out everywhere within a few days of listing every time. When it first surfaced on AmazonJP, it literally only stayed on stock for a few hours, and when HLJ got theirs, it was in stock for even less time. I'm hoping that it will be more available after release, but so far it has proven to be quite elusive. It did not come with the pre-order bonus cannons, but that Liger more than makes up for it. What a beauty! |

I couldn't find it...
I lost the opportunity to get the black liger with the first game, since it got me moving from Japan to Spain.
And now I lost this because I wasn't aware...
What a pity. I found one on eBay but is priced at almost 200$

With importers, you'll end up paying a lot regardless, unfortunately. Hopefully somewhere else restocks them. I'll post here if they do. If you do not mind going through a deputy service, Toys R Us JP still has it in stock for retail, but it will probably be close to $150 by the time you finish importing. |

Thanks for he heads-up. They do ship to Slovakia, EU but I can't stomach the total price with shipping, import tax and fees. If I had not just recently ordered regular Rising Liger I would get the IB version.

The Amazon JP sellers are equivalent to retail, so if you planned to get it for retail price, it is worth buying from there. The list price is $10 more than retail (which is 9,878 yen or something like that), and AmazonJP's shipping prices beat pretty much all competitors, at least to the US. For example, if you went through Buyee, even before the added fees, the shipping would be $35. Zen Market would be around $25, but again, have added fees. With AmazonJP, that $20 shipping makes up the $10 difference you're paying over list price.
It is unfortunately just an expensive kitty. $60 is pretty standard for Switch games in Japan, then add + $40 for cat. It is a high price for sure, and if it's just too much of a money sink for what you get, that's perfectly fine too! I just wanted to make the price comparison post because I personally had a bit of trouble finding the actual retail price among scalper prices earlier on. Thought it might be a useful comparison.
