Many of us who are into the Zoids Wild series have wondered if Kotobukiya would tackle the giant beast itself, Death Rex. They've now officially announced the kit during Stand River! It features anime-accurate details including a brown roof to the giant jaws, anime-accurate pointy claws, etc.

I just hope it'll have less goofy proportions. The head still looks really big here.

It'll be interesting to see how big this kit ends up being. I don't expect it to be in-scale with the Wild Liger, but it should still be fair bit larger.
What'll be really exciting is the eventual Omega Rex.

Why was Death Rex changed to Demise in the English dub? I kind of find it hypocritical that Death Stinger and Death Saurer get to keep their original names, but Death Rex's name gets changed.

Why was Death Rex changed to Demise in the English dub? I kind of find it hypocritical that Death Stinger and Death Saurer get to keep their original names, but Death Rex's name gets changed. It is completely baffling to me that standards change, especially in the direction of MORE strict. Do they really think what used to be fine will now hurt people? Are they just brazenly accusing the past standards-makers of being too loose? |
