The Liger is a special edition of the game, and the cannons are a pre-order bonus~ So just regular pre order bonus? |

omegascourge - I think so, but Hanyoutai is definitely the authority here. fpjonesiii - Been trying to figure that out myself but haven't seen anything so far yet. I'm hoping AmiAmi will source it like they did with the first game, but I have no idea if they will Regarding scale, I'm with Hanyoutai on this one. I think it's so wacky and inconsistent there's just no benefit trying to rationalize it. I'm just happy to have classic Zoids in a new game again. I'm looking forward to seeing all their super attacks. I don't even mind that within the same series things seem out of scale with each other, like this for example:

Yeah, if Genospino was accurate to the show, its enormous back side would take up the entire arena lol. Which goes back to games needing to make a few uhh... quality of life adjustments, in favor of fun over technical.
The game goes up for pre-order either today or tomorrow. The TakaraTomy Mall already has it, but hopefully it'll also pop up on other stores like AmiAmi, AmazonJP, etc. If it does, it's as simple as making an account to purchase. (Please ignore the $160 one on AmazonJP, that's someone planning Future Scalping, not the actual official pre-order).
The Cannons are a pre-order bonus, so should come with the game-only release as well~

well, fighting games need compromises. the VS series could be pretty accurate though and still lots of fun

Pretty weird that HLJ had this at all, they usually don't stock limited releases like this. Guess I missed it, but I don't have a Switch anyway, and honestly, if I want a blue Rising Liger, that's what my airbrush is for.
