Any where to still get the set? For some reason my preorder at Amazon Japan never went through and now HLJ isn’t taking more orders.

Welp... the new Gilraptor just went into my private warehouse at HLJ, but not the Burning Liger. I hope that doesn't mean another preorder fail... Did you get just the set with the the liger and the gatling gun? I got that and burning liger stand alone, while the standalone went into my ware house the set did not.

Did you get just the set with the the liger and the gatling gun? I got that and burning liger stand alone, while the standalone went into my ware house the set did not. I ordered the set with both, two of them. It's still listed as "order stop", so I guess it might still arrive, but the standalone liger is already listed as backordered. Amiami had the set listed as "order closed", but I could still order the liger and the gatling separately from them, so that's what I did. Knowing my luck, I'll end up with 3 of them in the end, but oh well.

I dunno if this works, but the picture isn't that great anyway. Here's mine. Video review by the end of the week, I hope. The short version is that it's much better than I expected it to be, especially the gatling gun. Between this and the Grizis, man, if this is what ZW is going to be like now... bring it on.

I think it looks pretty good. However, I do wish that a gun this prominent that it could elevate.

I think it looks pretty good. However, I do wish that a gun this prominent that it could elevate. How do you mean? It rotates and swings up and down and it still works because the mechanism is genius.

Didn't know that! Pretty cool and glad to know it's not just a brick.

The articulation gets surprisingly little notice in the official photos. You can check it out in this video around the 5:30 mark.

Ahem. youtu.be/i0e6N6cCNgIYou can see me move the gatling as it's running in this video at about 10:50. Hanyoutai's right though, you'd think they'd make a bigger deal out of this, but TT doesn't seem to recognize the genius of their own engineers here...

They're definitely hanging more on the toyetic side of things right now, while SNEAKING IN the good engineering. It's like how transformers used to emphasize the complex and interesting transformations, but starting around 2014 they swing opposite and try to make everything as simple as possible for tiny little kids, regardless of how that changes the sculpt. They've swung back again more recently, but.. it's not really surprising if Zoids doesn't want to look too complex for tiny kids by showcasing the gear mechanisms...
