Comes out in June for 16,000 Japanese Yen.
It is based on the DRZ-03 Iron Kong Yeti from the Zoids Yuji Kaida toyline which ran from September 14, 2002 to April 8, 2004 which was based on the Zoids Deluded War Record Web Comic. The DRZ-03 Iron Kong Yeti was released on December 26, 2002 for 3,980 Japanese Yen alongside the DRZ-04 Green Horn which retailed for 2,500 Japanese Yen during the second wave of the line.

Preorder is up on HLJ. I'm not getting one, though - I have one of all three previous variants with not a single one built, and I paint all my kits anyway, so recolors are pointless for me. Not as good as the PK version, but the stickers and the clear parts make up for it.

The clear parts almost make me want one. I want to paint one of my Kongs up as a Gore the Lord Protector, and that requires clear red. But I think I'll just do a candy finish on the clear green parts and not, y'know, blow three figures on a few clear parts and a kit I already have.
But I'm totally thinking about it. Cough.

I'm in a similar boat to you DE, though I only have one Kong unbuilt. But the Yeti was always my favorite... I'll probably end up being stupid and getting it in all likelihood. Looks awesome for sure.

This is a very good recolor. Yeti looks FIERCE. The stickers, clear parts, and extra weapons are a good touch.
Now, how many HMM Iron Kongs do we have and what does each include? Its kind of hard to keep straight.

This is a very good recolor. Yeti looks FIERCE. The stickers, clear parts, and extra weapons are a good touch. Now, how many HMM Iron Kongs do we have and what does each include? Its kind of hard to keep straight. -vanilla Kong -Schwarz Ver., with what appears to basically be the beam gatling set -PK, with beam cannon and maneuver thrusters -Yeti, with maneuver thrusters and beam gatling, but not the rest of the set (?!) Based on, um, three boxes stacked up three feet to my right and the pictures of the Yeti on HLJ. |

I hope we get an EPZ-002 Iron Kong, an EPZ-002 Iron Kong Mk-II Mass Production Type, and an EPZ-002 Iron Kong Mk-II Limited Type.

The funny thing is, the original Iron Kong Yeti didn't come with a Beam Gatling Unit in the first place.

The Beam Gatling is a shoutout to the webcomic~ Which were mostly based off of the same Zoids as the Yuji Kaida kits. In these comics, the Yeti did indeed have a gatling gun~ Kotobukiya erred towards the gun design they already have, but it's still a nice nod towards older fans who might've wanted a comic-based Yeti.  |

there are a lot of Zoids I wish i could own...the HMM iron kongs are just way to expensive for a single kit (plus, I constantly hear issues about this kit in particular)
