CoroCoro September issue (released this month) revealed two new weapon sets upcoming for Zoids Wild! This includes the ZW30 Assault Boost Unit and the ZW31 Buster Radar Unit. The Buster Radar Unit includes quite a few more parts than the ZW30, with some excellent customization choices. THe weapons are all designed with additional pegs and sockets so that the weapons can be continuously stacked, combined, or added to any Zoids Wild kit. Given some old motorized weapons also fit on Wild Kits, it's reasonable to assume these will be compatible with some older motos as well. Name: Buster Radar Unit Release Date: October 5th Price: 972 Yen Includes:- A-Z Anti-Aircraft Gun x2 (Upper left, large cannons) - Extensive Radome (Disc) - A-Z 2-Barrel Cannon x2 (Upper right) - A-Z 3-Barrel Charge Missile x2 (lower left) - A-Z 10-Shot Maneuver Missile (Center missile pods) - Flexible Arm x2 (Bottom) Further Viewing:- TakaraTomy Mall

These are great! The Sniptera looks complete with all the add-ons. The 4-barrel cannon looks very similar to Gojulas' arm cannons, which is no bad thing. I'll be interested in picking both up for sure.

This set has been added to the TakaraTomy Mall with a proper name list now released! Not only does it include a lot of nice looking weapons, but it also includes two Flexible Arms, similar to those used in earlier kits like the Geno Breaker and Berserk Furher. This will be excellent for adding weapons to your Zoids, as well as general customization needs! Imagine not having to drop 40 ~ 80 on one of those kits, or having to scratch build those arms? It'll be interesting to test how much weight they'll hold.

I was just wondering why they had the Raynos colored Sniptera on the boxart. Because if I'm correct they didn't have any other recolored stuff on the boxart so far?
And I do think the CP sets are really nice, the one thing I don't get is why they gave them the ZW designation? As in ZW30 instead of CW01 CW02 etc. Because if they treat them as ZW releases it means that Genospino and ZW32 (Gatling Fox?) will be the first ones after Bazootle and Raptoria.
As opposed to releasing Zoids as ZW30-31 and CW01-02 as extra releases.

There have been other recolored Zoids on boxes (Gilraptors), but it is a surprise to see them take such focus. They definitely stand out. Though, admittedly, I don't think they share any colors with Raynos. They look more ghostly to me.
The numbering thing is curious, but more a headache for list making, haha. Trying to figure out where to slot in weapons that aren't part of the main release schedule. Would prefer they have their own designation as well.
I don't see an issue with Geno Spino being the one released after them, though. Perhaps it means we will see it earlier in the series. I imagine it is also being pushed in preparation for Christmas, with that November release. A recent article by CoroCoro mentioned how well the Death Rex sold being released during holiday season.

True, but most people do associate it with Raynos at first glance. Yeah that numbering.. The "Rex repeat release" does make sense for Christmas indeed, I just hoped for at least 2 releases after the somewhat underwhelming Raptoria and Bazootle. And 2 Zoids (ZW 32-33) would have been nice, 4 would have been even better haha. So CW01 etc would have been a better way to number them..especially when they take up ZW kit space in the release schedule as opposed to side by side releases. Ah well let's just say at least it's more Zoids and more weapons

I noticed that these designs are a lot in common with Kotobukiya's products. That's a very good thing! I would have to buy two of each pack to make the units two-sided, but they really do have some great details.
