Hm, you don't like the boxart? I think it's an improvement in every aspect over the Death Rex at least. I'm glad we get a nice look at it finally. I do think the Rex is more cohesive, especially the head, but I have a suspicion that this beast might look amazing when properly painted.

Well I think I liked the Rex box more than most people  but what I meant with uninspired is mainly the standard empty photoshopped background. I come from old Tomy boxes (Krark OER box still looks awesome) or Ultra with buildings and some Zoids in the background. These mostly seem empty and rushed.. Luckily the contents are good indeed |

Honestly this is one of the best box arts to come out of all of Zoids Wild. The photoshop work is a LOT better than the poorly cut out stock photos for most of the first series, that's for darn sure. I also absolutely love the colors they choose for the background and in this case (not always) much prefer it being empty. It shows off the water well (I remember when this series first started, thinking to myself, Gabrigator's box would look so much more amazing if they just added water to make it seem like it was actually coming out of the lake.)
My one confusion is that CoroCoro has what looks like one of the 'stock images' for the model kit showing it as purple. I wonder if that was a mistake / they changed the colors last second, if it will end up as the corocoro limited, or...? The red shows off the armor quite poorly imo. It makes it look like random tiny scraps littered around the body. A darker color looks more coherent.

I'm less fond of the head the more I see it, though the rest is still pretty fine. Now i have trouble seeing that nose without hearing the Chamberlain from Dark Crystal whimpering and screeching, "We must have peace! Pleeeease?" and "I did this! I captured the Gelfling!" I do like the new cannons, though.

Huh. When we first saw it at the event, people pointed out it saying ZW 34 on the placard behind it, but after a closer look it looks like that was a ZW24, not ZW34 placard, for Pachy, that was stationed behind it. My bad then~ We now have confirmation that ZW34 is Gatling Fox.
