So besides Blader Liger Wild or whatever they're calling him, the next one in parts will be Hunter Wolf Command. So basically some loose parts to convert a regular Hunter into a white "Command Wolf" (the same as with the Blade Liger Wild, blue parts and some orange paint to simulate the canopy from ye olde Zoids.
This time white parts with, again, that orange canopy. In my opinion not worth the effort of that orange paint. I do understand the intention, but as it looks kind of stupid (as it's not an actual canopy and he allready has eyes) I'd rather have an all white Hunter..
TT really trying to get non Wild Zoids fans to support the line..

It's just a for funzies armor set for the arcade game. People who don't care about Wild won't care much about this, either. I appreciate the shoutout to the old kits, and am quite excited to pick this one up. Also happy it has the orange parts, but I also love painted details on kits in general. Much better than not when you don't paint your own kits, but many people would disagree on the merit of sprue marks, which is fair. Don't think that'll be a problem for this kit, though. The 3d version of the Zoid can be seen on the Battle Card Hunter website banner. They also had a commercial for it in yesterday's Zoids Wild episode, but its not been uploaded to their youtube channel yet.

True but apparently they can paint parts so they should have done that when they started with the Liger because his rabbit face (front view) gets extra emphasis on those buckteeth (because his lower teeth aren't gold, which makes it look really silly. Even better would have been dual molding..
And if I could choose I'd rather have an all white one instead of this. I do get the nod to the old models but it just looks kind of weird as he has both eyes and a canopy..
And sadly (as stated in all my reviews back when I still felt like writing them) the kits do have enough sprue marks.. Often in really visible places..

By sprue marks, I mean over painted parts specifically. All model kits have sprue marks. It's just kind of how they work. I do agree painted teeth would be nice, though. Perhaps it was a bit too much of an undertaking for a full scale release, compared to an uncommon prize for an arcade game.
For the paint, it should theoretically be possible to remove it. Mai has a guide on the forum for removing paint, and has successfully removed some from official Zoids. Might be worth a look~ He's not the only Zoid with canopy+eyes, but in this particular case I like the look. Reminds me of a tancho koi. But we all have our preferences for Zoids~

Personally I'm more bothered by the using the default caps on them than them having the orange painted on their heads. Wish Wild Blade had grey/white caps instead. I look forward to getting Hunter Command.

Although I do realise that all model kits have marks I specifically mean that unlike for instance normal Zoids kits, HMM kits or Bandai etc have sprue marks where you have some level of control on how those marks will look after cutting.
With Wild kits, because they are machine cut, you have no influence on how those marks come out (and as I have often said in those reviews some are placed on the front of say head armor, as opposed to the back or even the inside of the part, leaving a quite noticeable blemish..)
Thanks for the paint tip Han!
