This is part of a group of Zoids that were revealed in this leak. The Beast Liger appears, for all intents and purposes, an evolved form of the Wild Liger. We don't know any of its official lore or if that's truly the case, however. Beast Liger's "Mane Claws" now resemble actual claws, as part of its two phase Wild Blast. For the second phase the claws extend well beyond the Beast Liger's face, for greater reach. It's a medium sized motorized kit using the Wild Liger base. The armor is all newly redesigned. I like the colors and overall design. The Wild Blast is still a huge eye sore though.

"I have a big claw hand that pops out of my shoulders" is pretty awkward compared to things from the past like "I have swords that fold down from my ribs" and even that had problems with legs clipping through in the cg models. Nothing has ever made quite as much sense as the Shneider's face-mounted blades. It would also be nice if walking mechanisms didnt get in the way of extending the paws to strike with As for the color, I think white, bronze, and dull maroon are actually awful. |

See, I have always been a sucker for pearl whites and reds/maroons. The Saint Gale and Death Stinger ZS are 2 of my favorites in that regard
Now that you mention it...it IS odd to think that older Zoid gimmicks were more aesthetically pleasing, albeit less functional.

Well, it looks quite nicely detailed with the panel lining. I do like this version of the cat more than the other lions.

I agree that the overall design and coloration is nice, don't care much for the wild blast and the big chicken claws

The colors are *almost* winning me over. Like *Watch your language!*, does this Zoid just look good or what?
I don't want to be pandered by TT, but blades extending out from the sides would be a welcome change.

BUT there is one difference here... in this case, using the same structures over and over again with different armor kits does give us the opportunity to get a design that is actually good enough to buy! ^_^ |
