I'm thinking that means the new gun actually extends, lengthening the barrel.

Will this kit come with any new parts? It’s stated above I saw the pictures on Kotobukiya's site, but I don't see the stretching Charged Particle Gun. It looks the same to me.

Why is the Berserk Fuhrer called Berserk Fury in the USA anyway?

Why is the Berserk Fuhrer called Berserk Fury in the USA anyway? Because the original name is a Nazi reference. This is something that's fairly common in Japan, the Gundam franchise is full of it, from the Zeons being obvious space Nazis to various mecha either having German names or accessories with German names, so nobody bats an eye in Japan. But I guess someone in the US decided a kids' toy shouldn't be named after the title one of the most notorious genocidal maniacs in human history gave himself. Personally, I've always hated the name because German is my first language and it's just friggin' weird to have a German word slapped together with an English one that almost sounds like the German - it's "Berserker" in German, and also "Berserker Führer" would sound dumb. I'm working on a custom HMM BF, and I'm calling it "Berserker Rex". And then I'm painting up a Sturm Tyrann and naming it "Storm Tyrant" because it doesn't make any more sense in English, and if you can mess with my language, I'll mess with yours. ;-)

I pre-ordered this from amiami a few hours ago. Let’s hope Kotobukiya is right about the new parts for the Charged Particle Gun. I do have the Sturm Unit though. I own the original HMM BF, the Sturm Tyrann, and the Kotobukiya Shop Exclusive Sturm Tyrann Berserk Unit Set. I’m only getting this so I could recreate the Storm Fury AKA the Sturm Fuhrer.

Unfortunately it seems that the "Repackage" in this case only changed the background, unlike earlier repackages which got entirely new box art. It's a shame as Mercy's artwork has come a long way since then, and the Furher could've really used a new image that gave the Zoid a more flattering angle.

At least they added a lot of Demantis units. I would not mind if Kotobukiya gave that Zoid the HMM treatment one day.

I got this kit in the mail a few days ago from my good friends at amiami. I have the Shield Liger DCS-J on pre-order there as well.

Couldn't believe TOMY had the nerve to name this zoid after one of the most infamous people in history. That's like naming a Transformers figure after Donald Trump. I'm actually glad that Hasbro censored the name.
