CoroCoro LTD: Death Rex Purple Dragon Form [Rerelease!]

The Death Rex (Purple Dragon Form) is a rare limited coming out of the March issue of CoroCoro. It was first announced in the February issue. This Zoid will have only 100 copies produced from this giveaway, likely through silver peel. Silver peels are like a scratch off where you use tape to remove silver peels in a particular order and try to get the right combination. It's how the Wild limitations from CoroCoro have been released so far.

* The Guren was released as clear parts in a baggy, packaged with the Awakened Wild Liger. Death Rex may not come in its own dedicated box either.

Price Discussion: The purple Death Rex is the second 100 unit Zoids Wild kit produced by CoroCoro, so the first (Wild Liger Guren) is the most modern example of how prices may go. Death Rex could be cheaper, or even more expensive. Before its announced rerelease at the World Hobby Fair (using a standard Wild Liger instead of an Awakened Wild Liger) the Guren sold on average for $550, with the most expensive sale being around $1200. Be prepared for a bidding war.

Thank you for the info! I saw the purple rex on their official Zoids twitter but didn't know if/how it would be released. I do like the look though, maybe more than the regular red version.

Death Rex Purple Dragon Form is receiving a rerelease! It's available through Shogakukan's Mail Order website, currently up for pre-order at 8,250 yen. This is a limited rerelease while supplies last. You'll need to use a proxy service like Celga or White Rabbit Express to order. Rexes are expected to ship at the end of January 2020. This release comes with the model kit, so you won't need to buy a separate Death Rex to use the armor.

Thank you for the info! I had seem some screenshots/mentions of this on twitter but didn't know what they were referring to. I might try and see if it's not too much trouble to obtain, since the price on the site is not too much more than the regular release Rex.

Haven't had much experience with proxy services before, but I tried it out to get this one. Arrived today!
