Yeah, I've seen those, and I've got two of them on preorder, but a couple of limited variants isn't really the same thing as general releases of new models... I only have ebay as a source for doing a pre-order for the ZWR## series. Can anyone provide the process on how this works? I'm used to AmiAmi or HLJ requesting payment once the product is released, but Ebay sellers may need to be paid right away. Yeah, I preordered them on eBay as well. You do pretty much just pay immediately and then hope you actually eventually get the stuff, which makes me a bit queasy, but I decided to take the risk this time. I'll certainly be posting about how it all turns out, one way or the other... |

So, update - I just got a message from the seller for the Fang Tiger Kai saying he would now list it as shipped in order to comply with eBay's requirements, but that it would be shipped in September. This will either work out fine, or it's an elaborate scheme to make sure I can't get a Paypal refund. We'll see.

Well, this preorder came through. Fingers crossed for the Fang Tiger, and I still need to find a Proto Beast Liger, no luck so far...

Very cool! Man, I just wish they had not gone the 1/34 route with these kits! They really did bring in some solid designs. This one really feels more "classic" than many of the others.

Yeah, I dunno, the scale just never bothered me. I don't like the new pilots at all, but if you just leave them off and put the models next to each other, they don't really look like they're different scales.

I started watching wild today & interest has peaked. Thank you for doing this review thread! I'm in trouble already & have only watched 4 episodes. Adjusting to the modern zoid changes but some of these look amazing.

Adjusting to the modern zoid changes but some of these look amazing. Haha, I'm afraid you're a bit late to the party, though... the earlier ZW models are all OOP, as far as I know. Perfect time to grab some of the clearanced American release ones from Hasbro (if you can find them!) Ross discount department stores have been getting in Zoids, but it varies on location. I personally have found only a single Liger, but a few friends I had scouting for me helped me pick up the rest of the NA Wild line for about half price of what Pulse was selling them at. Other than getting lucky at a clearance brick-and-mortar department store, the only options would be private sellers or other model kit distributors that still may have backstock. Ebay prices for the clearanced Hasbro NA Wild Zoids have shot up due to scalpers putting them on Ebay for twice what they initially retailed for. |

^ problem I've definitely run into lol. The consolation is I only want 2-3 (jury still out on Phantoth) but I picked up xenorex XA & am eyeing a rising liger. Thanks for the department store tip!
