Hi everyone. I have a recollection of seeing photos of a huge Zoidzilla (Gojulas) custom - like 8 or 10 feet tall - which was made for some toy show or similar event in the UK back in the OER days. Does anyone else remember what I'm talking about? If so do any photos of it still exist online? I think I probably saw it on the old Zoidspoison forum which is dead now. Better yet, did anyone here see the real item? And is anything known about what happened to the model afterwards? Appreciate any info!

Lionel has a little bit of info about it on this page, although sadly no photos of the actual event. I also saw a magazine photo of it on Twitter once, but now I can't find it.

Yes! That's exactly the photo I was thinking of. Even bigger than what I thought I remembered. So it was in France, then, and not the UK as I thought? Or perhaps was seen in both at some point? Thanks a lot Lionel and Falcarius.

The photo is from UK. I had a discussion with the little guy in front of the Zoidzilla, who was the person, now adult, who post the photo on his account (I don't remember if it was Facebook or something like that). I can't find this discussion anymoore. But, I was knowhing this big Zoidzilla, from my childhood. It was seen in Paris, at the professionnal toy show, in january 1986. In a french TV show, for children, called "Vitamine". I had the reflex to record the moment, on a VHS. We could see the battery cover closing, and after the Zoids moving his legs and arms, with the journalist in front presentating the huge Zoid. I searched a long time if this video was on the Internet, but nothing. Maybe it is still on the VHS in my parent house. One day, I will check.

That would be an amazing bit of Zoids history to see, if you are able to find the video again.
