Pre-ordered the game from Amiami. Anyone know if it would include the armor parts? Not a deal breaker if not, especially since I don't even have a Wild Liger, just thought I'd ask since the listing doesn't mention it, though it does include this screenshot.

Yhat is my greatest fear. Im taking the plane back on the 25th so no chance I get it by myself, so I wanted to get it with the special edition. Maybe amiami or playasia.

Dang that's too bad you won't be able to get it in person! Must be nice to be able to see the kit releases as they hit stores though.
Wonder if any other yet to be shown Zoids will feature in the game. They did a pretty good job I feel of keeping later releases, like Spideath, under wraps so far.

I hope we get something more, since the game seems short or small... I mean, the roster is really short and I dont know if there are upgrade options.

I've posted a bit in the ZW King of Blast topic in the News section, but it probably makes more sense to continue posting here. If not, mods feel free to move. I've played through the game a little more. You start with five playable Zoids- Wild Liger, Fang Tiger, Ganontas, Scorpear, and Triceradogos (the human partners are inseparable from their Zoids-- Arashi/Liger, etc). To unlock more you have to play the story mode. After about 12 levels focused on Arashi/Liger you unlock alt colors 3 and 4 for Liger, as well as access to the branching story paths for each of the other characters. You unlock the Death Metal Zoids by playing at least one level in each of their story branches-- Gilraptor, Gabrigator, Stegosage, and Knuckle Kong. For Death Rex however, you need to finish Gallagher's story branch which is an additional 12 levels. Most levels are just one fight, but a few involve multiple enemies. I've only unlocked all four color for Liger and Death Rex. Everyone else you start with two, and I assume you access the other colors by finishing their story modes. Maybe inspiration for custom paint jobs? I especially like Gilraptor 2 and Rex 3, though I apologize for poor image quality as I'm just using my phone camera to take photos of the TV.
Also, a third DLC Zoid was announced recently! Here's the three shown so far:

Has anyone figured out how to to part seven of the training mode? I'm stuck at the part after they teach you Wild Liger's [X X X X A] combo. I followed it with R+X but it didn't seem to be correct...?

Ah, I was just doing that last weekend! It took me a while to figure that out. They want you to do the heavy attack then the R + X move. I forget if you need the A move in there as well. In any case, it's either X, X -> R + X or X, X, A -> R + X. At least I'm pretty sure.

Thanks, I'll give it a try after I finish story mode.

Not only that the game is coming to the West in Autumn, but also that there is a new game that is releasing in Winter 2020- With custom parts. Like a mix with the fighting game and ZOIDS VS or Battle Legends.

Don't know how if anyone is even interested, but here are the alternate colors for all the Zoids in this game. I know it's years since the original release, and the sequel and the localized versions of this are already out, but now that Nintendo finally made it easier to send screenshots directly to a phone I was able to actually upload and organize these images. Each Zoid has four colors, with the third and fourth colors getting their own unique name (e.g. Wild Liger Evil).
Wild Liger/Wild Liger Evil Ganontoise/Ganontoise Aqua
Scorpear/Scorpear Phantoma Triceradogos/Triceradogos Chrom Fang Tiger/Fang Tiger Blaze (Awakened version has same names/colors) Hunter Wolf/Hunter Wolf Bouncer Grachiosaurus/Grachiosaurus Volcano Gusock/Gusock Pure Gilraptor/Gilraptor Nix Gabrigator/Gabrigator Carrion Knuckle Kong/Knuckle Kong Baghnakhs Stegosage/Stegosage Psyche Death Rex/Death Rex Origin Dimepulsar/Dimepulsar Trance Gilraptor Emperor/Gilraptor Joker
