Hey everyone, let's start creating a new thread for every new Zoid that is announced. This thread is going on 58 pages and it's just way too much to try and wade through to find info about new releases. I've asked people to do this before and for some reason it never happens so let's really try to do it this time. Thanks. Like a series thread with specific information or a in-forum wiki?

Like a series thread with specific information or a in-forum wiki? No need to make it complicated, a new thread in the Zoids News section every time a new Zoid is announced/revealed. For example, a thread for Fang Tiger would have a title like "ZW19 Fang Tiger" and then all info like pics, release date, and any other news about Fang Tiger would go in that thread. It just makes so much more sense than dumping every bit of Zoids Wild info into one thread.

LIke Wild Liger and the chromed one. I can do some of them.

I think the mass thread habit was carried over from ZP, but admittedly I do prefer having individual threads. I hadn't actually checked back here before making some of them, but I do think new variations deserve their own thread. They are, after all, separate releases from the original. Also sometimes warranting their own, separate discussions. For example, the chrome Wild Liger / Gilraptor are from a custom contest, which could use its own thread just on the merit of talking about the entries, etc.

Hobby Link Japan got special Zoids items promotion. The special items are stickers and rubber caps .Here the link or go to Hobby Link Japan's home page. The promotion starts today while supplies last. Remember only Zoids Wild items qualify and not all them qualify. I actually got these from my AmiAmi order of Stegosage. I guess this is also a limited supply addition.

The caps/stickers were part of the Z Cap Campaigns that ran in Japan. They were given to customers who purchased more than 3,000 or so yen worth of items at select stores. AmiAmi has participated in most of the Z Cap Campaigns (wanna say there were 3 so far?), and gave items out to users who purchased the necessary amount.
I'm guessing HLJ got theirs when buying the bulk of their kits to sell, and decided to do their own mini event for them. HLJs come from more than one campaign, so perhaps they've just been stockpiling them. They are indeed limited supply, but not an HLJ original item.

I saw Hobbylink Japan has a big spring sale going on now, but no Zoids Wild kits are included. If I remember correctly they've had sales for black Friday, winter, and now spring since ZW was released, and no ZW have been included. Guess that means they are likely selling well? Side question-- I ordered a Catalga when they first came out, and my HLJ order was immediately backordered and has been for months. This happen to anyone else?

That's just how HLJ rolls. I waited the better part of a year for a gundam kit, but in fairness it was like a 17 year old kit.

It's not just HLJ, even TT's own website shows several kits (including Catalga and Hunter Wolf) as out of stock. So much for beating those supply issues, I suppose.

Whoa... looks like it's really happening. It's funny to me how serious the tone of that trailer is, considering how silly and aimed at younger kids the show itself is. Hope this means at some point I can find Zoids in stores locally.

That would be nuts. A shame we won't have a proper Toys'R'Us though.
It's kind of weird. Even as a long time Zoids fan, I don't see how this will be marketed to kids in the US...I just don't see kids buying these, given current trends.
The accessability and reduced cost might (emphasis on "might") tempt me to buy some of the current WILD kits, if they ever get released.
I hope they mix up the release order of kits too; I don't think internarional markets should have to wait months on end for Wave 2+ kits just because Japan did. I would love to see Wave 1 in the US include the Fang Tiger.
Recolors too! Hasbro has a habbit of doing that. I just hope the quality of the plastic remains the same.

Man, I'm still sad about Toys R Us. Also I hadn't thought about it before but I think your point about changing trends is a good one... I don't know if Zoids can compete with Fortnite, twitch streaming, and whatever else is popular these days. I'd like to think so, but quite a different landscape now.
Maybe Hasbro will do a reverse Zaber Fang and we'll get the Fang Tiger in maroon this time!
