Very true indeed.. But luckily episode 13 will be much to your liking If they'd do more of that I'd be all for it.

Gusock is an isopod, not a pillbug.

We have our first video of Stegosage's Wild Blast. I do like the blades coming down to the sides, but the movement is a bit silly for my taste. Looks more like he's got a really itchy back and is trying to scratch it. Or like that twitch thing that cats do when you touch their back. EDIT: And Gusock walking

Gusock is an isopod, not a pillbug. Both right. "Pillbug" is what North Americans call woodlice. Woodlice are within Isopoda.

That's really cool. So it has a walking mechanism separate from the rolling. That's different from Valga, unless I'm misremembering? I'd assumed it was effectively just a re-issue of Valga, but this looks like there must be some different, and pretty clever, new engineering going on.

Both are cool models, but the Stego's weapon looks like it is supposed to be more like a buzzsaw than a leisurely fan. Love the Gusock!

Seems like the Gusock is stealing the show of this next wave. Caught up to ep 8 of the anime. Didn't realize that Gannontoise was not a tortoise-type, but a "Proganochelys" which I had to look up (thanks for the subs Falcarius!). It's such a cool animal! First, the name means forward-brightness-turtle, which already sounds halfway like a Zoids name. Second, it had all these spikes covering the limbs, neck, and tail... man I wish that were incorporated into the design more prominently. Whenever I get around to buying and building one I might take inspiration from the fossil restorations:

As I expected, it appears not to be like Valga (as in crawl crawl, roll) but wind-up walking and manual roll (as in throw it yourself) I suspected it a while ago when I came accross a picture, and this kind of settles it I guess.

I saw those early this morning on YJ. Really need to pick them up but will old off until I get the November releases squared away. Those LEDs will be perfect for my BCG König Wolf and assorted other Zoids.

For me the legs still look too short. It's like they stuck a duck's legs on a T. rex.
